Early Access Review
Greetings Steamlords,

I received a copy of this game from the developer on Keymailer, if you also have a youtube that would be a potential place to get it if you want to make RTS content. Since this game is an RTS (once upon a time the largest PC genre, now virtually non existent but I guess there's a few bigger games on the horizon) it's automatically going to be a favorable review from my end though since I play quite a few games of all shapes and sizes for my channel my time with this game was brief at time of writing this. The developer says the game is still very early on in development so take what I say with a grain of salt I guess.

There seems to be the functional state of RTS in the game but I'm not entirely sure how hotkeys are supposed to work in like an efficient way to make it flow like an RTS, that could just be me not investigating the options closely enough. But in general just clicking everything I was able to figure out how to build a base, gather resources, and military units and then ordered a unit to attack another unit (possible a neutral creep?) while the AI was expanding on their corners of the map; it seems like you need to build outposts where resources are every so often in order to continue to gain resources in the game so there's probably fairly specific build orders based on what resources are available.

As far as the future of the game I assume there will eventually be a fully fledged campaign with a story and possible even voice acting that elusive indie game element; as is the game reminds me a bit of Warpath a classic shareware game that's still available online somewhere if you google it; I think the general design concept for the game is more Homeworld than that. The map is grid/hex based which I guess technically a lot of older RTS titles are as well they just hid it behind isometric graphics, but it's clearly the case here and there isn't verticality which is probably for the best in the context of RTS in space.
