Game of the decade

Was a bit disappointed by the 3D look at first, but playing the game, really fell in love with everything. It's Root, minus second guessing yourself on the rules every other minute. Fantastic experience and an absolute bargain price. No issues with networking, no major bugs. +1 to everyone commenting on the long battle animations.

If I could suggest anything while this is in Early Access? Revamp this to do it all in 2D, much like Civ VI's tactical map mode. Root's greatest strength is its art style, and while I appreciate the effort, anything in 3D fails to meet the high bar of original art.

The most varied Total War game ever released. The vast amount of DLC available seems to be distracting people from how much came with the base game. Amazing game, incredible total war game.
