First and foremost: All of the episodes of this game, so far, have been awesome.
Secondly: This is not a shooter. If you're the kind of person who can't stand dialogue in your games, this isn't for you.

That isn't to say that this game doesn't have adrenaline rush moments, though! I just finished playing Episode 3, and while every episode has ended with a cliffhanger, Episode 3 has been the best yet.

In this game, you play the high school girl Maxine Caulfield, who discovers she has the power to rewind time. Throughout the episodes, she has to use this ability to take decisions that will ultimately affect the way the game plays. And here's the kicker: It ACTUALLY works. Remember the ending of Mass Effect 3? If you felt betrayed by that game's lack of outcomes despite your choices, you will love this game.

There's hundreds of hours of cutscenes and dialogue in this game, and you'll only have the abililty to experience it all for yourself if you make different choices the next time you play.

Another cool thing about this game is the art direction. The graphics mix cartoony with realism, resulting in a kind of hipster-chiq look. The music emphasizes this, as does the writing. Playing through this game feels like playing through an american indie film.

Of course, there are also drawbacks. Sometimes, the gameplay can crawl to a halt if it isn't immediately obvious what you're supposed to be doing. And sometimes the game will require you to look at certain objects or make certain dialogue choices which will require you to rewind time. All of this sounds repetitive, and it is. It can also make the game feel somewhat limited, because it isn't free-roaming and half the time you're either talking or looking at or grabbing objects.

But the actors, writing and animation make you as the player care about the characters and the story. And in a story where the player gets to make choices that really determine how it plays out, I for one can't ask for much more.

If you like dialogue and great storytelling, you WILL love this game.
