So the first question you probably going to ask... "Is this like Stray?"

The answer is: Kindaaaaaa, but there is a lot more to Little Kitty than Stray. While Stray is a darker story, Little Kitty is a lot more cartoony and funny (with lots of puns).
You have more control over your cat in Kitty than in Stray and both control great. You can do a lot stuff around the city and all sorts of funny interactions and references to find.

Bottom line: Both games are great in their own right! Get both!
In my Stray review... I said "11/10 - will Cat again"!! (or something along those lines) And Little Kitty delivered!

So once again: "11/10 - I will Cat again"!!

Runs like butter on max settings on 144FPS and controls great!!
I soooooooooo hope they don't pull a "Helldivers 2 Stunt" at a later point.
This is a great port and worth both the money and the wait!

I got it on sale a long time ago with some base DLCs.
But now .... hooooooooooooooooooooooolyyyyyyyyyyy sh.................................... too much DLC.
If you want the full experience it's like 370$+! Are you mad?!!! I will be one of the poor people(or smart people depending how you look at it) and play my "inferior" cheap version. Or just play Master of Orion 2!

Get Stellaris, but wait for MASSIVE sale!
(400$ for a complete package ... JFC!! For some people, that's like rent money for two months).

Edit: Ah and yeah... sub option is BS too. Getting rug-pull when you cancel it!

TLDR: BUY IT!

This one went under my radar it seems but a friend found it ....... and boy oh boy do we have lots of fun now.
Surprisingly polished with very few minor or annoying bugs but nothing major or colosal f----ups (unlike some recent big studios screw ups).

Pros:
-THREE WAY GIANT ROBOT FIGHTS! FNIX <> SOVIET <> RESISTANCE!!! Hack some robots on both sides and madness ensues.
-Good graphics (especially with ReShade to clean it up).
-Great machine designs. All robots are fun to fight. (but F.. THE TICKS!!!! So anoying!)
-Sound and Music are hitting the right vibes.
-Multiplayer Co-op and progression is caried over for your char in single player or vice-versa.
-Driving vehicles handles great and is a ton of fun.
-Fun physics! You get blown up and flyyyyyyyyy awaaayyyyyy.
-The map is HHHHUUUUUUUUUGE with tons of stuff to explore!!
-Fun weapons, gear, traps for use.
-Base building/defense. (craft the Jukebox and jam out to synthwave while robbots attack you. You are welcome!)

Cons:
-BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR ATTACHEMENTS!!!!
Attachments are not hidden from your inventory or stash when they are attached to a weapon. Meaning you can remove it or scrap it by accident VERY easy.
PLEAAAAAAASE add a system to DISABLE/PREVENT recycle of ANY equiped gear. Also hide equiped attachments so not to screw up.
-Apperal upgrading is kinda wonky - but once you get used to it, works decent.
-Character creation is a bit limited but you can get good results.

I am probably fogrgetting some stuff, but Generation Zero is a WIN in my book and become one of my favorites.

And there are MODS for it apparently and future updates.

IT'S CONTRA!!!

There is enough stuff and config to suit any playstyle from super hard to a cakewalk. It's up to you! The new additions are nice and once you get the hang of them it fits perfectly. Lots of unlockable stuff (no micro-trash-actions) with ingame credits.

I hope they do more Contra stuff... Alien Wars (teased), HardCorps (the SEGA version! Give FANG his shades and epic "It's payback time" line) and the branching story and endings paths.

PROS:
-Classic gameplay and new 360 aiming
-Controls are snappy and no stutters or anything of that sort. Smooth!
-Graphics and artstyle are suitable.
-Voice Acting is pretty good.

CONS:
-Only 8 levels. They are pretty long tho but you can beat the game under one hour.. even got the achievement for it.
-Unlocking stuff feels a bit grindy but it's fun ... after 3-4 Arcade Runs on any difficulty you can unlock almost all of the stuff. I wish there were more levels or alternate arcade levels or branching paths.

A word on mele attacks:
-FANG'S (and other character) mele attacks - they feel bad ...Why in the hell they just stun the enemy (doing 1 dmg)? Sure they stop projectiles... but would have been 1000 times more fun to just kill the bastards (or do more damage)!!! They do work... but .. just feel weak and bad and are purely defensive.

Conclusion:
Give me more Contra!!!
This one is a WIN for me!

A full complete package! No micro-TRASH-actions, no loot boxes, no cut content, no BULLS...!!
Exactly as games back in the day were! I WISH that this is the standard for a game again and not the exception.

TLDR: You like the Alien license? You like X-COM? Then you will love this game!

Is it like X-COM? No! But it takes a lot of ideas from it and does something different to keep it fresh.
The game has some jank here and there, sometimes I was going mad and had to load very old saves to bypass some softlocks, but patches will iron them out I am sure.

Other than that: Absolutely nailed the atmosphere, sounds, music, feel of the movies. The gameplay loop was great and you are free to do whatever you want. The ending was a bit disapointing (kinda fits the universe)... but lots of questions never got answered. Probably setting up for DLC or sequal? Either way, it was a good time and I can't wait for more.

10/10 .... with all the updates and DLC!

Now they need to add running to all characters .... and somehow make it 4 co-op online ... it will be LEGENDARY 20/10!
