After loving Inscryption last year, i figured I'd give this game a shot. And I can't believe it, I love it even more than Inscryption. Fantastic game.

I was playing last night, all good. I've sunk many hours into this game and was really enjoying it,
The I hop on this morning and my save slot is gone. All progress, gone.
So be aware that this can happen. Sucks hard.
Otherwise, its a good game. Thumbs ache but its worth it.

Really enjoyable little free game, so can't complain..
..but i will anyway.
There are objects in this game that require finding the right code to unlock them, and I am telling you now: Do not try to figure these out yourself!!!, the codes are so vaguely related (or in one case completely unrelated) to the object that you'll waste far too much time trying to figure them out.
Just find the codes online.
I feel like this game has some very dark and troubling subject matter and should possibly have a warning? (or maybe there was something on the full page of 'photosensitivity warning' that I didn't read) Because if you're a Life Is Strange fan you'l know that some heart pains are probably on the way - but for other players who simply saw a free game and gave it a go, they may be a bit troubled to find out that this game isn't a fun, inspirational, off-beat comedy like the anouncement trailer shows it to be...
So if you reading this, just be aware that this game does contain some depressing material related to the physical, emotional and neglectful abuse of a child.

Edit: I just checked and they did write "contains mature language and themes" on the steam page. So I guess they covered it..

It definitely isn't for everyone.
But if you enjoy slap-stick comedy, it might be just for you..

I really Really wish there was a middle option between thumbs up and thumbs down.. Because this game is by no means "Bad!" and there is a lot to like here.. just not quite enough for me.

Pros-
It's visually very nice!! The movement speed is quick and it played really nice and smooth.
Good story with great voice acting.
A couple of tricky puzzles in there.
Would make for a great introduction to FPS puzzle games.

Cons-
Far to similar to Portal and Portal 2 in its concept, aesthetic, puzzles and in many ways, the story. I sort of felt like I was playing a rip-off...
The major flaw is of course the puzzles. If you've already played Portal and Portal 2, then for the most part these puzzles will be very easy... Where Portals puzzles had a certain level of complexity; so much of the turing test feels so close to reaching that goal, but as if the creators gave up at the final hurdle of each level, and thought "ah thats enough, let the player through".
Also, far too many levels. Perhaps this was to make up for their simplicity and to ensure that players got a solid 5 hours out of this game. Sadly this makes the second half of the game drag on, and the dialog suffers for it..
Also, regarding 'twists' in stories - the twists in the turing test don't change the game in any way, you just keep doing the same sht. Compare that to Portal's; in which the twists aren't just some bit of information you learn, they have a massive and thrilling impact on many aspects of the game.

Despite the ranting, it is still a solid title, it just doesn't holds up against it's predecessors and for that reason I dont recommend.

This is my favourite game in years. I definitely did not expect so much content, or enjoyment, or beautiful music and art, and this amazing little gem of a game truly delivers.

Yes it's challenging. No it's not dark souls (thankfully).
Dark souls is absolutely brutal and infuriating while Hollow knight is well balanced, and if you come across a boss that seems waaay to hard -> you're probaly going the wrong way...So come back a little later in the game and mess them up good.

Anyway - Hollow Knight is absolutely worth it.

This may be the worst game i've ever played. A pointless game of trial and error. and countless items that seem to do nothing. I wouldn't recommend this even if I was paid to.

First play: bit by ants. Wound became an Infection. Infection became sepsis. Died in minutes.
Thankfully i kept trying. And before i knew it- 5 hours had passed.

This game is really good- but you've got to get past the initial stages of having no gear and get your footing.

Great art style, challenging gameplay, some awesome music.

The con: the wolves. After awhile- you'll find yourself in wolf-world...
And wolf world isnt very welcoming to a little girl with a dog...

Has an optional tutorial found in the menu and i recommend u use it. there certainly moments where i had to Google something and then yelled "oh how the **** was i supposed to know that!!"

E.g. tainted meat kills wolves. And Only wolves. No other animals eat it... uhhggg.

I really hope there is more content to come. Because the campain definitely left me wanting more ..
