Does this game even work? Every time I try to start it, it says server not available. I've tried for 5 days in a row. All day, at different times.

Of all the Assassin's Creed games, this one is (I believe) the best one. I'm not including Syndicate or Origins on that list, only because I have not played them through yet. The controls are spot on & tight. Story is really good. Ship battles are a blast. I probably put close to 1000hrs on this game. If this game ever goes on sale, Definitely Buy It.

I preordered the game and was anticipating its arival. And I now am enjoying a decent game.
First Off- I knew my PC didn't meet the recommended requirements, but it is better than the minimum. I had to reduce the resoulution to a lower setting and all the other graphics settings are normal, low or off. And the game runs smooth with no bugs, glitches or problems (at 63 fps). The only problem I had was- in the Batmobile, you have to hold a button down for battlemode. Since I'm crippled, its a little hard for me to use multiple buttons at once in any game (esp 3 or more). But after a little trial and error, I finally got it playable (but still hard for me).

(Added Update = As for the problem mentioned above, I decided to write an email to WB about my problem. I explained how I was having a problem trying to hold the button while doing everyting else, and a day or two later, there it was. A 'Toggle Battle Mode' option. I was HAPPY. Don't knnow if that was a result of my email or not, but either way, I applaud WB.)

I'm having a BLAST! And I look forward to more gameplay. I really don't understand why there is so much hate for this game. I bet its not ONLY because of the game, I bet its people trying to run the game on its highest graphical settins on a PC that only meets the MINIMUM SPECS listed. Or there are issues like spam, maleware, viruses, software not up to date, etc etc etc. I have an i5 2.67 Ghz Quad Core Processor with only 8GB Ram and a GTX 760 Graphics Card. The game is running in fullscreen - 1360 x 768 - no vsync - no anti alais - texture res is low - shadow and level of detail are normal - and all other settings are set to 'off' (interactive fog / smoke, and enhanced rain / light shafts). The game looks good and plays well. The in game performance tester run a frame rate of 43fps/low, 95fps/high and an average of 63fps. I know if I change the settings up, it will look awesome but run bad, so I have to settle or buy a new PC. And for now I'll settle, until I can afford to buy a PC that is faster.

Bottom Line... I like the game. And I recommend it. If you've had problems with other brand new games in the past, maybe you'll have problems with this one. But if not, and you like Batman games, buy it you should like it.

I got this game about 2 weeks ago and been on it a lot. Been taking my time with the main story, doing challenges along side main story. I reached the 2nd main level of the story line, where the war chiefs are unlocked, and the learning curve has shot through the roof. What was an awesome progression in learning how to play with the game getting systematically harder, has shot up significantly. I haven't progressed one bit, yet. To me, this game has just got MUCH harder. It could be that I'm crippled, and can't respond as qqquick as needed. But for the game to have that much of a change from one chapter to the next, is mean.
It plays like Assassins Creed games. Run around, run up walls, swing sowrds and a little bit of wizzardry type combat. But the controls aren't as good as AC. It plays best with a controller, but people I know that use one, say the controls are a little sloppy. I use a keyboard, which is sometimes agrevating. Keyboard controls reqqquire a little more detailed input when playing.
This is a FUN game. For some, it may take more time and a few more times dying before getting certain missions finished. I'll re-report, once I'm able to progress from part I'm stuck at.

I was having some problems with keyboard and mouse. But since I upgraded to a Steelseries Programable keyboard, with 22 extra keys, I have become an Orc Slaying God. I find myself just running around looking for and picking the biggest fights I can find. I love being able to while fighting to turn half of my enemies into allies with the Combat Branding. Even though this game has been out for a while, GET IT. You'll like it.

I liked it. It looks great, plays well, controls are solid and it was fun. You have a choice in how your play style is. You can sneak around and pick off enemies using stealth or you can run in guns blazing! It has quite a few action packed sequences which you need to push buttons at the right moment, which look and play well with the story. Later in the game you can upgrade finisher moves for when you take down a bad guy, which are pretty cool. This TR is more of a survival game, it does have tomb raiding, but the puzzles arent that hard and its usually mainly for an upgrade. I havent done much multiplayer, because noone seems to be playing the MP. Overall, Its worth buying on sale, $9.99 or less.And don't worry about DLC, its mainly outfits and MP items. Unless you want those.

Well, what can I say about this game? It only cost me $7.50, which was too much for what I ended up with. I wasn't expecting GTA 5 quality but was hoping for what was described on Steam store page. I had to open Norton and disable internet access for this game, just so it would run. Which also means, No Multiplayer! (not the reason I got it but again, its what was described). There is no way to change keyboard control layout, which for me is a big deal. It look good, gameplay is about 5 out of 10, has some good humor in it. But thats all. I played a couple hours and decided that, if the price drops to less than $2 -$3, then I recomend this game. Otherwise, spend your $$ on something better and more fun like Just Cause 2, Dead Space or even GTA 4. These titles go on sale often, for about the same amount of cash or less.

I really like this game! Since the first day, even though there was some slowdowns during online gameplay, this game has been pretty seamless. I'm confident Ubisoft will be patching the game to make online better. The transition from SP to MP isn't instant, but it is quick. I don't have a monster of a PC, but it is a little upgraded and you WILL need to be to in order to really enjoy this game. I'm able to have the display and graphics settings on HIGH, and everything looks and runs great. For the gameplay, I give a 9.8 out of 10. Would be a 10, if I could change some control options. Would make the gameplay better for me. Great game. You will have many hours of play. Aside from the main story missions, there are hours and hours of side mission and DLC content.

Good Scarey Game. Especially if you have 5.1 surround. I havent finished it yet, but I'm having fun.

This game is nice. A change of pace from all my other games. Very good looking too. Good story too. I haven't finished it yet, and its slightly difficult for me to play, due to the amount of buttons you need to push just to play this game. But thats not a bad thing, just taxing on me.

With over a 1000hrs of my own gameplay, you got to understand that this is a great game. I've had problems tho, once the game reset all my challenges to new, so I had to do them all again. And I downloaded the DLC, but still haven't got to play it. I've contacted Ubisoft, and after a week or two there is no solution. But, otherwise, its a great game.
