Just started playing the game and yes, there are a few bugs but give it time! (the devs seems responsive from what I've seen so far and are making improvements) ...I've found the game totally playable and enjoyable in its current state

Early Access Review
This game certainly reminds me of the WWII 'Combat Mission' games I used to play a some years ago (which were tactically great in-my-opinion!) and with this release, The Troop fills a long awaited gap in the same genre which I'm really happy about...

Yes, it is early access and currently provides a limited selection of actions and orders for your Squads and Armor. Likewise the battle scope is comprised of only a few unit types at the moment however, it's plain to see this game has enormous potential. I'm sure the developers have a road map of improvements and updates which will boost the gamer's experience and provide the depth and complexity we're looking for

Finally, I hope the small development team are open to some input from the community and in time allow mods and custom made missions and such - I guess we'll see?

If you like turn-based WWII strategy games and are prepared to be patient with the final product, then go a head and purchase this one

I thoroughly enjoyed this game (as I did the first Subnautica), and only wish there was 'more of it' in terms of exploration, story line and challenges

I've been playing and enjoying 'The Room' series ever since it's first episode some years ago and this latest release continues to impress! ...In fairness the puzzles are not overly difficult and quite linear overall but its the smoothness and quality of the graphics and supporting visuals that makes this game excel. Combining this with a simple story-line the player experience is totally chill. This title is definitely worth the price and you will be rewarded with 6 to 7 hours of fun and relaxing puzzle gaming; - so why not?

A nicely structured game that's not overly difficult or complex. The slow pace of the game rewards the player with stunning visuals and naturally generates an enthusiasm to explore the ship and finish the story line (albeit a little obvious from the get-go). In summary I enjoyed the play-through and would recommend a purchase if on sale as this is a 'play once' gaming experience

A great stand-alone game in it's own right, however the Modding Community have (and continue to) provide a plethora of improvements. This game continues to get better; - there's a ton of support videos, guides and workshop options that keep you engaged and want to improve your own City as you build it

Actually, this is a very good game - yes, as been said before; - a lot like the HOI Series. If you like this style of strategy and play, then this title is worth picking up

Verdun has many shortcomings for a varierty of different reasons, but if you like FPS games with a steep (often brutal) learning curve this game is for you! YOU WILL GET KILLED A LOT as you learn the ropes ~but that's all part of the fun!!

There are some exceptionally good players and teams out there with what appear to be 'super-human skills' often mistaken for hackers. Don't be put-off; - learn from them as you play and 'get-gud' yourself

Oh and fianlly, aside from the actual game it's good to know the Verdun community is pretty supportive overall and the Devs do respond and communcate with it's players on the Steam Forum as well as actually playing the game from time-to-time

This is a really enjoyable game and worth a few hours of your time and certainly the $3.00 sale price! This game give the player a nice plot and elegant stroyline. In my opinion it definitely deserves the “I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye” Award during the current Thanksgiving Sale
