It's not perfect,

And it entirely depends why you like souls games. I personally like build crafting and combat most, and in these areas the game is really fun. I don't love getting lost all the time and backtracking and that aspect of the game was annoying, but I keep coming back to it again and again, my favorite souls game since Elden ring so far.
