This game has realized the 40K setting better than any other to-date. Gameplay is extremely similar to the Vermintides while also adding era-specific gameplay and class depth. If you want to experience 40K in game-form, this is the way to do it. It's fun, it's frenetic, it's just great.

Also, it can't be understated that the soundtrack absolutely slaps cheeks.

Did the beta have crashes? apparently a huge number of folks experienced a lot of crashes, although I only had 2 during the pre-order beta.
Did the beta suffer from inexplicable, and sometimes downright illogical, performance issues? Absolutely. The ways in which dialing-up settings would increase performance, while setting everything to LOW would make things worse is a conundrum. What I eventually realized was that no matter what I did, CPU and GPU usage never rose above 60%, while my FPS rubber-banded from low 40's to over 100 almost constantly. The only consistency I noticed was that draw distance was a huge resource hog regardless of my settings. Enclosed spaces were usually fine, but the second you get to a very large area (even with no enemies on-screen) the FPS would drop through the floor.

All this aside, it's still a great game for 40K lovers. I can't say it's worth picking up yet if you either aren't that into 40K, or you don't like the Left 4 Dead style gameplay.

This is pretty much a direct clone of Marble Blast Ultra -- not that it's a bad thing at all. In fact, I'm all for the creation of clones where a game is not already present.

Overall I love it and will continue top play it. The marble physics are right-on-time, and the sounds are perfect also.
Couple of minor gripes that I sincerely hope the devs implement.
1. Please rice up the dull and utterly disposable music. BGM is a really important aspect to the overall aesthetic of games with no protagonst or emotional anchor... the music's mediocrity really detracts significantly from the overall experience.
2. Controller support for the in-game menus, please.
3. The gravity flip super really misfires on the conveying what is happening. In this order: Fire the gravity flip, ROTATE the camera 180 degrees, then apply gravity. What happens now is: Fire the gravity flip, CUT camera to the new 180 degree angle, then apply gravity. When the marble vanishes instantly to appear stuck to a roof, only to then fall the the ground, it's extremely disorienting. If the camera rotates in-place and the player is allowed to maintain eye contact with the marble, the whole thing goes a lot smoother.

Otherwise, excellent game and well worth the low price point.
