This type of game gets your adrenaline pumping, which i consider a good thing. Now that I have played some hours, the initial intensity has worn off, but this is still an amazing game even though I'm not that good at it. A definite recommend thus far.

EDIT: Ok, I now have over 50 hours so feel I can edit my review a bit. Let me say I had NO expectations of staying with this game. I thought, it will be fun but as a noob, but I will surely die often and get frustrated and hook this one on the rack of games I rarely touch. I was proved so wrong. In fact, I'm actually winning as a killer sometimes and even as a survivor (when teammates carry bc honestly I suck at survivor). I am learning that this game has MUCH more depth to it than I originally thought which keeps me clicking that play button more than my RL responsibilities allow me.

Yes, you will die A LOT at first but hang in there, keep playing and focus on leveling up just one survivor or killer to get comfortable with it and develop their skills. Also, learn the maps! Map awareness is important in this game in order to outwit survivors as a killer, and to escape killers as a survivor.

Yes, you will encounter hackers but compared to other MP competitive games it's pretty rare. Just move on because the thrill of a good match beats out any bad experiences you may have.

Final verdict: a DEFINITE BUY! ...especially if you like games that make you think on your feet, not just a twitch-happy FPS fest but a unique, immersive and challenging gaming experience.
