Hello man i have a problem with the hereklios mod and i really need some help

Hey quick question about the Units for the Hereklios, war of three faiths mod. I noticed I could not recruit any native Byzantine heavy cav, is that because those units are from The Last Roman, and therefor I need that DLC to recruit more?
