It all looks like Homeworld, but the soul is nowhere to be found.

What you get is a nonsense story where the actions of characters contradict their wants and goals, and gameplay that is missing key features from the old games (such as hardpoints and ship variety).

After suffering through only a mere 13 missions of campaign, I could only feel relief that it was finally over and that I wouldn't have to listen to this YA novel style drama anymore. The only things I honestly enjoyed about the game were the visuals (except for the cutscenes). The rest is just very, very disappointing.

I can't recommend this game at full price, and I don't think I could recommend it at 50% off either.

I finished the game a few weeks ago and it's still plaguing my mind with how awful the story is.

I'm just very disappointed.

It's ok.

Rescued some pigs. Whole farm attacks me. I survive through much hardship and pain. Pigs walk into landmines. I get blamed for their deaths. Quest fails.
