Think about this:
There are almost 3,000 positive reviews for this game.
There are only 17 negative. That means out of all people that played this game, only 0.44% of people didn't like it.
There's a reason for that.

This visual novel is amazing. Don't be fooled by the MS Paint level art skill in CG or animated scenes. Don't think this is a furry (scalie) bait game.
You can replace all the characters in this story with regular humans, robots, aliens, mutants, cats, dogs, whatever. It doesn't change what makes this game amazing.

The. Writing. Is. Outstanding.
This is a drama involving the new kid in school. Unlike basic soap operas, TV dramas, or bad fanfics the story here is so grounded, hits so close to home, that when something bad happens you FEEL it. When the bully pulls shenanigans, you feel just as the main character does. When happy things happen, you will find yourself smiling like an idiot at your PC. When sad things happen, you will need a moment to collect yourself. It's that good.

Give it a chance. You'll love it.

One helluva game for some helluva Helldivers!

Also; chalk up another score for DEMOCRACY! Sony put down and we secured yet another foothold for Super Earth!
Now it's back to bugstomping and botscrapping.

I hardly ever, ever, ever write reviews. It's true, you can check. So when I write a review for a game you should take into account that it hit me that hard.

This is a book. A CYOA (Choose your own adventure) book. Albeit a complex and much more complicated one.
If you are not a fan of reading long scripts of text for 1-3 hours (Took me 2.4 hours my first run) then that's alright, but I would still encourage this.

This game accomplishes something that most sandboxes and games that "emphasize story" have barely come close to doing; making your choice matter. This isn't a case where the story is the same with minor differences from your choice, but a real evolving adventure. One tale could have you create Skynet and cause the end of humanity. You could create the new iPhone-esque style robots with a company. You can conquer the world with a robot army. You can forgo the world and all people and create a robot child of your own to raise peacefully. You can live, love, fight, squander, become rich, become poor, become ill, overcome obstacles, and more.

If there was a way I could hit that recommend button multiple times I would, but for now just settle with a thumbs up.

In simpler terms, 10/10 I would find love and make a family once more, and prove my humanity still.

Bloody brilliant. Lag might d/c you sometimes depending on your connection but there's a big ol' button on the main menu that let's you attempt to reconnect to the game immediately! Brilliant!

The environment is amazing, ship designs scream Steam Punk. No advanced construction here. Ships of the Seas given balloons.

This game also has the friendliest community I have ever seen in my 12 years of playing games. And I play a lot of games. Honestly, for 3.74 right now, there's no reason not to get this game.
