cool game, as long as you don't have expectations like a lot of the other reviewers. not a perfect game, but it's fun figuring out the logistics and rewards you can get from missions.

this game is like crack for my brain. instead of worrying about how to optimize your empire to kill your enemies, you have to optimize for making your people happy.

colonize planets. build lanes. realize you f***ed up and just cut off an important route. keep playing because you learn from mistakes.

As a fan of the ZE series, I really had higher hopes for this game. The characters were overall decent, but a few of them really didn't land for me, and it doesn't help that the game spends most of its focus on them. The puzzle sections had some interesting parts, but overall didn't feel strong enough either. I will give credit to the atmosphere, even though at times it can almost feel campy, the game can pull off the creepy eerie anime aesthetic real well when it wants to. I just wish it could pull off the heartfelt moments as consistently. The comic relief is also hit and miss, but that's more easily looked over. Overall, I didn't hate the game, it was good, and had some good moments, but also had plenty of mediocre moments. I would give it the middle thumb if that was an option on steam.

While I tried to not let this affect my review too much, (although I'm sure it didn't help my feelings on the game) the numbers of crashes I experienced was nuts. Most of the game was fine, but the puzzle sections, including one in particular that must have crashed about a dozen times, was really annoying. Hopefully it was related to my specific setup and not in general.

it's been a while since I've hexagon'd so it's taking me some time to get back into the swing of things. If you played super hexagon you basically know what you're getting here, and if you haven't, stop reading this and go play super hexagon.

I played through some of this demo on itch.io. I say some because after about 20 minutes I knew I wanted to experience the full game and had to stop. Looking forward to reviewing the full game when it releases!

Such a fun rhythm game. The visuals and feel have changed a bit since early access, all with an excellent sheen and polish. I personally felt the game felt a little more reactive in the earlier versions, but that just might be me being used to it and being grumpy about change.

The electronic soundtrack for this game really works, and there's a bit of variation, but it's a lot of high tempo beats and jams that feel good to play as a rhythm game. There's custom tracks too, so if you're looking for more variety there's plenty to find.

I'm not really sure what more they could have done or what they could change to be better. I feel like this game accomplishes what it sets out to do, and I recommend it for that reason.

I sort of feel bad for using a walkthrough but I don't have the brain required to figure these puzzles out myself. Great game with fantastic humor though.
