I love how this game puts a new perspective on the typical Far Cry experience. I love the feeling of riding a Saber-tooth Tiger into battle and watching it bite down into a Neanderthal's neck. It gives me a feeling of connection to a primal nature, thinking this is how our ancestors fought to survive so long ago. Definitely a unique experience among games.

This is a punishing game that is very difficult to play; so much work for so little. I get the premise and I can understand the appeal for some people, but this is just not even fun.

A Citizen has the courage to make the safety of the Human race their personal responsibility. Everybody fights, no one quits. Who needs a knife in a nuke fight? Just remember your training and you'll make it home alive.

Naked force has resolved more conflicts throughout history than any other factor. When you vote, you are exercising political authority; you're using force.

Fun game, great developers; but I do find the campaign and custom battle modes too difficult to enjoy. I read all the content and I get why, but it's just too hard for casuals.

This is an ARPG (Asset-dump Role Playing Game) in which She (the developers) will punish you for buying the game. Whether it's exciting features like getting stuck on stairs, or becoming unresponsive because too much work is done on the UI thread, you will no doubt spend countless minutes on this game grinding away at loot that's too high level to use, but has crappy stats anyway.

This game promises and delivers on Boobs, Blades, Blood, and Boredom! You can unlock countless sets of lingerie you'll never see because the game failed to render clothing, or visit exotic new places to get stuck in! You can test your mettle in the ultimate challenge: an endless stream of Undead and Orcs to fight--because obviously!

Fairly decent if you only consider the F2P part. PvP modes are typical with insults and toxicity towards new players, as one would expect. Nobody uses their microphone, and "C" is bound to some kind of quick communication action. I spammed chat a bunch trying to duck and didn't see until the end of the game. So that brings me to...

Default keyboard controls are clunky. Everything is set to toggle by default, with crouch being L Ctrl instead of X or C. Obviously the tutorial doesn't cover basic controls, because that would make sense. I'm guessing the devs do not like keyboards for gaming very much.

Seems like your typical P2W model, which is fine if that's what you like; otherwise just go F2P and have fun, because the rich people need plenty of noobs to shoot at.

Terrible... extremely scripted, no choices, no keyboard support except for one tiny part where they want you to type "Print Clearly" and sign your name. Good job trying to secretly collect our PII Valve, NOT GOING TO WORK!

Does not fully function with Valve's own Steam Controller, because it has no gyroscope. So they're trying to get you to buy a Nintendo Switch, obviously; what a waste.

I think I'm about a -45.00 USD by now, based on original purchase price and the value of my time and sanity.

Despite being impossible to play through 100% with mouse during some chase sequences (where they disable movement with the mouse while taking camera control away), it's still a very good game. If you like cats at all, you need to play this.

Truly an amazing game, both in story and style. This game is really about the human experience, what it means to be human and our quest to become so.

I wanted to love this game, really. The storyline is great, voice acting is pretty good, but it fails in so many technical ways.

Its failure is not because it comes from a small development studio, it's because the developers refuse to listen to players' feedback. We told them we wanted manual saves, or at least to go back to an earlier save; they said "no, just trust us". Honestly once you get out of the monastery you'd probably never need one; but it's that early game in the monastery where you really feel like you need it.

The boss fights are about 25% broken, and the final boss fight relies too much on precise reaction time mechanics (which would be a whole lot easier if the mobs weren't glitching out and rubber banding all over the room).
