The idea of the game is great. The execution however, very trashy.
It needs a a lot of work. If you don't intent to stick on it, you should avoid it.
If that's all you need to know, good. But if you want more info, on what, atleast in my opinion is wrong with the game. Keep reading.

Ok so what is good?
The world it's set in, is very beautiful.
The music and ambiance are chefs kiss.
VA is phenomenal.
The game-play is solid, although lackluster in certain parts.

What is bad?
The game is plagued by poor made choices by the devs and little to none communication with the player-base.

When the crafting rework/update, whatever you want to call it, rolled out, it turned the weapon mastery system into a grindfest, if you were unlucky and the game assigned the starting mastery points into weapons you have never used before. If you were playing 24/7 or if you had crafting materials to spare, you can accelerate the process. Great. But if you are casually playing the game, well have fun grinding the max level of your favorite weapon, which could be nerfed by an update by the time you reached the max rank.

And apart from weapons, your classed could also nerfed in order to make others viable or stop certain play-styles. I gonna be honest. I love how they made the first DLC a new character, even before the other classes were actually fun and playable *cough cough* VETERAN *cough cough*.

Not to mention the potential risk of each new update, breaking the game in a new flavor. But that seems to be a standard nowadays. Why make a complete and working game, if you can fix it with duct-tape patches that will break something else right?

Speaking of DLC, I remember Fatshark making a post that said, that, in order to have free content in the game, they made the in-game shop in their games to pay to this. So why do we have a DLC character now? That's some backwards logic if you ask me. Also what of the new classes each quarter promised? Is it again a communication error and they mean like new talent trees for existing characters or fresh new characters? I don't know, they are presenting it in a confusing manner.

Also, yes we did free content. Don't get me wrong. But again, lackluster. Let me explain:

Campaign Maps: Maps are coming at a snails pace. Gonna be honest here. From all of the few maps we got, the timed map is quite an interesting feature. The others, besides bringing a bit more lore into the game, is pretty forgettable in the most parts.

Havoc Mode: Well never played it. Heard alot of bad stuff about but idk.

Mortis Trials: Well okay here is something. I think what many believes, myself included, was, that the Mortis Trials were akin to the Realm of Chaos from Vermintide: A Rouglike go from mission to mission, adventure, with random buffs and perks for you to get along the way. In reality: It was a Horde-Wave mode with those random buffs and perks. The idea is not that bad. But again it shows the lackluster communication between the devs and the fans. Many wanted a Realm of Chaos like mode for the game. Nah... pass.

Something else: The lore of this game. If that even is something you really care about. Came with timed ingame events. Bringing some quests along. Missed it? Sucks to suck mate. But even if you took partake in the event. Your reward is crafting materials, maybe a „fancy“ border for your character and a little dangly bit you can put on your weapon and won't be seen 80% of the time. If you are new. Great! If you are a long time veteran of the game. Well throw it in the corner to the rest of it.

It's criticized a lot by the community, nearly meme-worthy status. But it goes on so, someone seems to like it.

All in all, it's a game with a lot of potential to be great, but also a lot of problems and roadblocks. Only time will tell, if things will get better or worse. I want to have high hopes for the better, but at this point I'm probably taking copium.

Just played it for like 10 minutes, and I'm already in love. It takes me back to my old childhood games. Can't wait for the game to get difficult and kick my azz. :D

But srsly, if u love old retro throwbacks give it a try.

Loved this game to bits, and still to at some points, but now it's just sad. A dev who cares jack-sh*** for its fans and gives the game to a scummy other dev to ruin it. If u guys are smart, you will stay away from the game and it's future releases until Overkill finds its common sense again and rollbacks the sh***show that is their latest update.

Say no the Update 237 and say no to the scumlords that are EpicGames!

Get your buddies, chug down a beer, grab your gear, and get digging. Great and fun game with or without friends.
Nice community / playerbase, the devs are making a great job when it comes to patches and content and its overall just a blast of a game.

Just like the first game, this one is just perfect.

Everything that has been added to this sequel just made it better.

The careers let you play your Hero like a legit RPG hero.
The Talents add to this experience.

The gameplay feels more realistic, the weapons feel like they have a really heavy weight behind every swing you do.
-> Thus the game itself feels far more difficult than the first one (It's a good thing tho). A good group still manages to beat the game in a good manner.

The Northmen are adding a new kind of difficulty, since they don't go down on one mere hit like the Skaven do.
The new Specials and Bosses are a very welcome addition. (To be honest, I always get a heart attack while fighting the Chaosbruts, cuz they are soooo hard to battle....)

So by far what I saw so far, wether it was in the Beta or the freshly released game, is very promising. I really love it.

I'm also looking forward for any kind of addition that might come up. Like a new Last Stand or even new Campaigns.

My first game on steam, and it hasn't changed that much (which is a good thing) 10/10

A good crafted WWII fps, the weapons are well balanced and it offers many maps to play on.

It only has two modes: CP and Bombing Targets. But it doesn't need much to be a good game to be honest-

I love this game. An excellent coop zombie FPS. 10/10

The basic game is fun to play (especially with friends)
VS / Scavenge and Mutation gamemodes, are keeping things fresh and neat.

A campagne doesn't take alot of time, so it's the perfect game to kill time with.

And using workshop mods will make the gamer also funnier.

It might get repetitive and boring if you play it non stop. But it's still a good game.

Hey, why are you reading this? Get the game and play it. It's awesome.

Open world, many quests, so you will always find something to do.

And if you still need to expand it, get some mods. But not the one you need to pay for, they're BS, get the one from Nexus and the Community Workbench, where you dont have to pay for mods.

This game is a legacy among steam games. 10/10

It's fun to play and offers alot of diffrent gamemodes. The way you can change the loadout of your character offers a huge variety of diffrent playstyles (but there is also a meta),

Next to the basic stuff like CTF / CP / KotH the game modes like Payload and Mann Up (Pretty much a nice idea of Tower Defence x TF2) offer alot of fun.

The free to play update brought the game down a bit, but it's still a solid and playable game. Only real problem here are hackers, you might encounter while playing casual.

The games shop has high prices on the items but you can get what you want.
The game has it's own currency (metal) but also uses real money to determine the worth of items. It also have it's own market system. So trading and knowing how to do it right and knowing how to avoid scammers, will either expand your inventory or get you some pocketmoney.

Simply. 10/10

You like blood and gore?
You like warhammer?
You like mowing down enemys?
You detest rats? (How could you son??)

Then this game is for you. It's fun to play, easy mechanics, especially if you are used to this kind of games.
A big variety of weapons per hero. Alot of maps and missions. And the people are mostly nice and helpful (sometimes you find a bad apple, but which game doesn't has those?)

The DLC's are a nice addition to the games lore and the armory, wether you think it's worth the price is up to you, but I don't regret buying them so far.
