A phenomenal game and imo a new gold standard in remakes. backgrounds are gorgeous while maintaining the pixel art characters for nostalgia. tips for starting, prioritize determination to reduce sp cost for the rest of the skills. bodyguard is your friend and do not train effort, it's a trap

you don't have to be a masochist to enjoy this game, but it'd probably help. it pulls no punches and i've died more times than any other game in recent memory. that said, fun as hell, would recommend
