While, to me, this franchise is a social experiment in the realm of something like an abusive relationship, I just cannot seem to quit this game. Oh, she lures you in with her beauty, her tight handling, and her massive, rolling hills of zombies, beasts and plunder.

But... then she drops a giant boss in your lap, and reminds you that this is not Breath of the Wild. No, it is not Oblivion, Dragon Age, or even Jedi: Fallen Order. Nope, this one is a From Software game of the truest variety, and just about the time you figure that part out, the screen fades to black and that all-too-familiar red text slowly emboldens itself in the middle of your screen, finalizing the realization that you are in for a very, very bumpy ride.

Her idiot friends putting cryptic notes on ledges beckoning people to jump to their dooms doesn't help with the relationship development, either.

10/10 though, this gorgeous creature can keep beating me up. I'm cool with it.
