This game had been in my wishlist for a while, and I bought it on sale. Bear in mind, I am no stranger to Early Access games.

So, I spent 10 minutes making myself a fetching Viking lass, went to log in--and the server immediately crashed. Repeat this process 3-4x, getting maybe a minute or so of walking on a beach in total. Tried another server, again crashed before it even fully loaded in. I want to like this, but I literally cannot even play.

EDIT: I even thought I'd be charitable and give the game another go on the next day--well, I successfully made it in...but the server had zero AI. Literally the NPCs would stand there, not moving, and the game couldn't register me hitting them.

This is the first game I've ever actually refunded a game, I was quite disappointed.

Re-downloaded this game super-excited for Vikings.

Have spent a combined total of almost 8 hours sitting in loading screens, can't even get to character creation, nothing. Resigning myself to sadly uninstalling. Cool trailers, have no idea on the actual gameplay considering I could never get it to load. Tried everything I could find on Google, to no avail.

Update as of 03/22: I decided to give the game one more try...apparently complete uninstall and reinstall was what I needed, because I have now managed to play the game just fine.

Surprisingly enjoyable, even in PVP, which is not something I usually find anything but frustrating. I wish there was a bit more unit/weapon variety, but it's still quite impressive, especially for a free to play game.
