Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 was a really good sequel to the other two predecessors.
You can really feel, that City Interactive tried to implement things, which Sniper Ghost Warrior Fans wanted to see in the next game.

One of these things were the tunnel'esque Levels from the predecessor and the Spotter, who always told you, who to shoot first. They removed the spotter and developed 3 big areas, where you decide, who to shoot, when to shoot and how, or even IF you have to shoot. That's where City Interactive copied the Formula, most of the Shooters nowadays have, and implemented a 3 class System; Sniper, Ghost and Warrior. You get points on each style, when i.e killing someone with a sniper rifle, storming at the front with an assault rifle or sneaking from behind, avoiding detection and silently taking enemies out with the knife.
You always get some points on each class during your missions, but you get more, when you act in a way.

Also they implemented a very important feature for every Sniper Player: The paralax adjustment.
Players from the predecessors know that issue: Always measure how far below the crosshair is the target?
Aaand, you miss. Always happened to me in Ghost Warrior 2 and it was annoying.
In Ghost Warrior 3 you can now adjust your scope that it is aligned with the target you want to hit, even if it is Hundrets of metres away! That is a big improvment on realism and fun; at least for my side.

The Rifle-Repertoire is solid. Nothing special, but enough to choose from.
You get SVD's, 50. cal Rifles, MSR's, SR-25's and more to choose from, but don't be surprised; due to copyright issues, the original or real names from the weapons aren't shown, so they have invented names.
A thing which kills the immersion a little bit for me, but well, it not so bad for.
Sure it is no Battlefield or Call of Duty, but you get Sniper Rifles for every range; 50 Cal's for long, MSR's for Mid-Range and VSS' for low ranges for example.
Again nothing special but it gets the Job done.
The same can be said to the sidearms and secondary weapons.

Now we should come to the story.
Even though City Interactive tried to invent a better storyline, they still failed to surpass the "cringey B-Movie'esque" Stories. Every Ghost Warrior Player, who played the predecessors know, that the Ghost Warrior Games aren't known for their deep and meaningful stories, but at least the third part is not as cringey as the two games before.
They tried to bring a touching story of two brothers in it, and for some moments you feel with them, if you are generous, but most of the time they stay dull. The same can be said to the sidekicks; they stay dull and fulfill their roles in the story, but deep charater building is missing in that. Don't expect an Metal Gear Solid, Deus Ex or The Last of Us. Still, it is solid.

The missions mostly are pretty repetitive: Gather intel, sneak into a building, killing a target, and the same again on an other level. And the same can be said to the secondary missions. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. It gets the Job done.

The AI is pretty dumb, but once alarmed they have an insane accuracy and kills you even hundrets of metres away with their Assault rifles.

Now we should come to the last part: The Open World/Graphics/Sound.
Graphics are thanks to the Cry Engine pretty good. You have beautiful Sunrises/Sunsets, farsights on hills and amazing work of Details. Especially the amount of Details to the rifles is pretty good, but the lack of character details is on the other hand dissapointing.
You have 3 Areas, one urban/wood area, one Mountain, snowy area, and again a more woody area.
All 3 are beatifull made, with outposts to eradicate, villages to visit and other points of interest to investigate, which is really fun to dive in thanks to the Cry Engine.
Sounds are very good. If you fire a shot, listening to footsteps, or staying in a forst, while a river is floating by, really catches the immersion of a living open world.

All in all I really had a lot of fun in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 and I don't regret Pre-Ordered that game.
Veterans of the genre will find improvments, which were demanded from the community long ago, and thanks to the Open Style gamepaly and adjsutable difficulty even newbies can find some fun it, by running and gunning everyone down, or getting supported by long range shots.
Even though it is still a Sniping game, and this should be the main focus to lay on; you will have fun, killing someone hundreds of metres away with a sniper rifle, or observing enemies wiht your scope, well to be a Sniper to be precise.
Ghost Warrior Fans will love this game, but Battlefield/Call Of Duty-Players better stay away from that title.
