As a fresh start in the game its a bit obtuse. The tutorial really doesnt tell you what you need to know and a lot of the unit details aren't intuitively available (all through the codex with no quick links). After the steep(-ish) learning curve, its a deep and rich game with tons of purchasable content (typical of games workshop ips). It's honestly worth the effort and time to learn.
