Buy Operation Red River instead or the older versions.

This one seems like a beta in my opinion. It's like they try to make it similar to the older version but it lacks a lot of the elements.

If your looking for realism of warfare than this is the game for you. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. Unlike Modern warfare it give you objective, however you can do any sort of manuever you want. Unfortunately the campaign was really short and because there not a lot of people, the side campaign which could've been fun with co-op took a blow.

Play with friends is recommended, however campaign is fun.

I like to suggest there older version of operation flashpoint which I think was far better than the new ones, although the graphic isn't good, but the combat experience and the overall fun was way superior in my opinion. You get to control tanks, fly helicopters, etc. Even the story was really nice.
