I want to like this game, I really do, I've heard the game is really good afterwards, but the early game is killing it for me. Not that it is boring exactly, but the bugs combined with janky controls.Placing buildable items is a nightmare, I somehow managed to place an item under the ground, so I had to dig it up to place it again. Items falling through the ground or flying off into the sky to never see them again, so you can go buy another bucket or another shovel, this is exacerbated by controls, which disallows you to place an item on the ground, you have to drop it, which can cause it to fall somewhere you don't want to, which can cause it to fly away or fall through the ground. Manual handling of individual ores is insanely annoying, as spilling the ores into a crucible may cause it to spill the ores everywhere but the crucible, if the game so decides. Oh and hitting the crucible onto a furnace? I mean, the crucible visibly heats up, if it is in a correct place, that's great! Until you need to spill the melted iron into a mold, and place the crucible back, and now the visibly heating up is useless, because it is heated up already and you can't notice it, so place it back, only to find out later it was not heating and now you have to wait until it heats up again.

I originally played this game when it was fairly new, and I excused this because it was new and decided to wait until I play again, so that they have time to fix these issues.
The game is at 2.something while it still feels like an early access.

Well, this is a story driven game. But still I need to say this. The mechanics and controlling the character is clunky and frustrating at best. However, I would still be able to forgive it if the story is good.
It isn\'t, I wouldn\'t recommend playing this game and listening to the story even if you got the game for free. I believe you all have better way to spend 45 minutes.

Awesome concept, awesome game, awesome developers. The concept just takes the basics and push it to the max, delivering exactly what it wants to deliver in best way possible. The game is extremely easy to pickup. You just press two buttons, that's it. There are few extra mechanics like multi hit opponents, brawlers, which is semi-boss, ranged and melee weapons, and few skills affecting the game a little. It isn't build around these skills, they just enhance your playstyle, if you are more into having extra range more often, or if you prefer room for more mistakes (it takes a lot of enemies killed, to activate mistake skills). And of course special modes to mix the game up and add a lot of fun. But it is next to impossible to master. The student mode isn't hard, you can just rush through it, even if you won't get best score. The master gets quite hard at the end, and I just imagine what slaughter will the grand master be. The price is extremely low for game of this quality. And the developers are responsive to all issues. I had issue with game installing, which was clearly steam issue. I waited for few days for steam support, but nothing came and then developer wrote to me and solved it. I just can't describe all the awesomness comming from this game.
