The texture size is 2048*2048, for the current sentry in game it's 1024*1024 but anyway they can scale it down and i think for a sentry one texture 1024*1024 is still tiny and mine has more details (the wheels, etc). The polycount limit for a weapon is 7k poly if i remember correctly, my sentry has 9k poly, and the sentry in game have more (maybe 15k).
If you want it to be in the game, I think your texture size is too big isn't it? I thought valve has limits on polly and texture sizes.
-instead of the
-costs 100 metal
-shoots stunning balls twice every second
-has a non-refillable stock of 25 balls

-stuns for 1,5 seconds, buffer of 1,5 seconds
And I think it would work with the wrangler item. I don't actually own one, so I'm not sure if it would conflict.
Griffiskor: thank you for your ideas, i haven't changed the sentence near my pseudo, but now i am busy learning programmation and will be busy almost all the summer with that. :(
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥>>Đ♥♥♥♥<<: i have accepted the request.
Valve can use the current Wrangler system to send informations of XYZ position where you are pointing and waypoints (pathfinding) of the bots to move the sentry and avoid obstacles. Or just take the X and Z positions that you are pointing and go straight to it but can get stuck behind a wall or go bellow a bridge instead of going on it.
They can change the orientation of the sentry depending of the terrain elevation by taking the code of the tank in MvM.
Everything is already coded they just have to mix them, but more importantly they have to accept to add a mobile sentry (that we see more and more in modern wars).
