The game is great and the devs deserve praise but Sony are just evil ♥♥♥♥♥. Tried to make it require PSN account which blocked a ton of players who already owned the game and were playing from playing.
Sony got rid of the PSN account requirement to then Helldivers 2 from being purchased in ALL regions where PSN accounts were unable to be created. This totals 177 regions to only block the game in regions that the PSN account was not available.

The game is fun and I wnjoy it but the RNG is so bad it ruins everything. I have played on hard, normal and easy. What i found was it didn't matter because RNG will screw you and no matter what you can't do a thing about it. At first I thought it was just me being bad since I just started so i muscled through. I got to a point where i was down to basic soldiers, no money, lost countries and just couldn't go on so restarted on normal. Difficulty was mostly same but with less flanking by ai yet the RNG seemed to stay the same. Then after a bit I restarted on easy to just see if anything was different annnd it wasn't. RNG continued to be the deaf god you prayed to knowing you would never have them answered.
An example of how RNG ruins the game in a way that you cannot do anything about was i had 3 guys hunkering down behind full cover to let my other 2 members get kills to boost exp. All three were wiped out by crits from every enemy that fired that turn. This was on easy mind you.

The game is fun when you can be rewarded or punished based on your decisions and tactics but when RNG just decides you lose it takes all the fun out of it.

Was an amazing fun well done game but then they did big update that nerfed most weapons, buffed others to stupid levels of overkill and now have microtransactions that dont sell cosmetics, no no no they sell stat upgrades so if you want to be able to do the same stuff you were doing before you now need to buy these skins just to get your stats back to where they were

This looked good and may be good but i wouldn't know because I was never able to actually play. I installed it on 3 different machines and never got it to work. Troubleshooted it multiple times but it would without fail just stop working after i logged in
