A puzzle, platform, action-adventure hybrid that maintains the high-quality of the first game. Major visual upgrade, increase in scale, and a few new RPG-style elements.

Some truly impressive voice-acting on top of an interesting and unique story make this an enjoyable play. The only downside is the amount of hunting and backtracking required to find all the collectibles. Fortunately they`re all optional.

It`s a real shame that THQ is no more. Hopefully someone picks up this IP and completes the series.

A real amalgamation of media: A survival horror video game that's scripted like a TV show, filled with collectible pages that comprise a nearly complete novel, audio clips, and even live action easter eggs. A very story-driven game, and all of this "extra" work reinforces that.

Unfortunately, the actual gameplay suffers. Combat is extremely repetitive. The environments, while absolutely gorgeous, feel stale midway through the game. While the meat of the story and how it`s told is great, the endings of both the main game and the dlc felt unsatisfactory.

Still a very worthwhile game to play. The amount of effort put in to craft a rich experience really does show.

Very little content. Two campaigns that take less than an hour each. A handful of chuckles, but not worth the price or time.
