A amazing game that needs no introduction at this point. I played it extensively on console before getting it on the PC and the difference a few mods can make is staggering.

Still as i stated the game stands on its own merits just fine (Even if it may seem a bit dated by today's standards)

Its got good characters, a decent plot and plenty of choices for you to make (Even if only a few of said choices make a serious impact on events its still fun)

The massive arsenal the game features is staggering (especially if you get the GRA pack) compared to the previous title and even its massive sequel FO4. You'll get everything from cowboy killers (Like SAAs and Winchesters) to a selection of military grade assault rifles and DMRs all the way to advanced plasma guns and rail cannons allowing for a variety of play styles.

The various DLCs make the game even better by adding large amounts of content for each one as well as new challenges for each place and i can say with confidence that these DLC areas are more entertaining than the main world.

As i mentioned above since this is the PC port you should do your best to take advantage of the modding scene, you'll get alot more for your buck, there are many MANY mods out for this game and some completely overhaul how the game plays.
