Easy at first but keep going. The mid to late tiers will define you the game and all its brilliant coded mastery.

I’m hooked! When I bought this game for £3 ish, I thought it would keep me going for an evening over a few beers and pretzels. Nearly 162 hours later I’m still playing. It’s simple to play but takes an age to level up anywhere beyond level 4. You can play single or up to 6 players; good mixture of weapons and plenty of additional mods to play with; music and sound effects are excellent too. Well worth the buy.

This is a surprising good game for the price and is slightly different from the mass of other Zombie games in that its best to avoid the nasty’s were possible rather than go in gun ho, as noise attracts the masses. Although, if your game plan is to do a mass extermination of the creatures then this too will have an element of success. Just bring along some helpers and plenty of ammo.

Plus points: Running, hiding, foraging, settlement improvements, other computer players foraging/fighting with you.

Down side: little and no advice on what to do, no multiplayer, limited replay value.

In all I rate this game as a 7/10
