This is not the kind of game i usually play but... i havnt seen such high quality in a video game in a long while. Get it at full price, the devs deserve it.

I'll keep it simple since other reviews are describing this game very well so i'll just add my personal grain of salt.

I'm the kind of guy who rarely, very rarely, very very rarely play the same game twice or even end the campaign of any game whatsoever. But Zero Sievert had me coming back.

To me, its a ''Come back to once in awhile'' type of game.

The kind you tell yourself you're just gonna play for 15 minutes after lunch, on a sunday to realise, on monday, that you dont have anything clean to wear at work because you where not responsible the day before.

I paid about 0.40$CAD/hour so it was worth the investment and i know i'll come back sooner or lather.

I'd also happily pay for any DLC that would bring more weapons, maps, features or quest into the game.

In the last two days (over the weekend), i have played this game for 18 hours. Its sunday night, as i am wrinting this, my winter tires are still on my car and we're pretty much one week before june...

Bought the game on my old computer. It could not run it. I upgraded months lather. I have to buy a new licence of the game because its 1 licence per ''hardware specification'' not ''per computer''.

I litteraly got scammed.

Its the last time i buy something from Rockstar.

Go out on the sea like they do in Somalia.

Built my base at spawn wich was in a dryed up bassin. Got a nice surprise when the rain got heavyer. Hurricane Katrina simulator. Halp.

Spawned a friend, in the first 2 minutes, lootless, got buttraped at spawn by a team of swearing griefers who killed for no reasons just for the fun of killing.

Respawned nearby, witnessed them sinking another Sloop anchored at ''Sanctuary'', we hid our ship behind an island but they still managed to spot us while we tried to complete a quest.

Toxic community without any means to get rid of. I'm all in for PVP but i feel bad for recommending the game to my friend who litteraly got griefed in his first 2 minutes of gameplay.

The first 15 hours where awesome, i had fun. Then, more and more bugs started to appear to the point i have to stop playing the game. These gamebreaking bugs are ''common'' according to forums so i dont recommend buying this until these bugs are fixed.

Still buggy but there are workarounds. The devs are still developping the game. Give it a shot if you like Tanks, its good to take a break from WT to fix tanks. Imagine playing this to replace repair cost...

I lost the game...

This game can be super fun (more than 2000 hours fun). This game can a be source of highly addictive dopamine (it has, recently, become a problem to my ADHD mind). To play this game, you don't need to know how to swim because you're gonna be floating in highly dense hypersaline sea of frustration. You can turn this into a positive thing if you're wise enough to take it easy and force yourself to learn to meditate and (i'm not there yet).

To reduce your salt production, i would suggest you play with the soviets and/or the german nations first. Other nations can be rougher to handle and the meta is kinda favoring both Boris and Hans. If you are a masochist, like me, play with the french (high tier tanks are awesome in specific maps and very terrible in other).

There is much more to say but i'm writing this at the same time as i attend to an online university class (covid times) and i should get back to it. Try the game, its free. If you get addicted, don't hesitate to pay for premium if you have money but not much time (aka adults with responsibilities). If not, but you have plenty of time (aka teens with too much free time) you can grind for free but its gonna take awhile for you to get to high tier (and more modern vehicles).

We all aim for the Shinny, Epic, Badass modern Main Battle Tank with all the gadgets and fluff but you'll have the most fun with lower tier vehicles so don't try to rush a tank tree.

I nearly have 3000h now but i play off steam now.

I dont recommend it anymore. The recent economy change really broke the game. Even thought i pay for premium, i am losing money, and quite a lot, when i lose a match.

My favorite gamemode is ''Simulator'' and at high tier with modern tanks. I just got stopped playing the game after losing 100K SL (in-game currency, let me tell you that some tanks are worth less than this) because my team lost three match in a row. One of those match was lost under 2 minutes of gameplay because the ennemy team spammed helicopter gunship at the beginning of the match and there litteraly was nothing we could do. Even our Self propelled anti-air vehicules where overwhelmed by missiles right after spawning (i spawned one as well).


According to ''thunderskill.com'', in simulator mode, i'm more efficient than 86% of the playerbase and even i can lose 100k in a matter of minutes.

If you're looking for a good time, stay away from this piece of trash. Let me remind you, i pay to have premium time (wich give me +100% more silver lion per match) and i still lose more in-game currency than i win despite being in the top 14% of the ''best'' player in the simulator gamemode.


Althought i never was the biggest of em, Gaijin is starting to piss off even its own, old time and more experienced whales.

Oh yeah, this is gold. I Started university not long ago. Although the pandemic made it hard to bond with my classmate (because 90% of our classes are followed from home), this game helped some of us to bond both in huge moment of fear and in humongous moments of laughter.
