Great and exciting gameplay.

There is a lot to like.
But also rather annoying issues. There are no collision detection for a lot of game objects that move around. The animation for the construction of new buildings a really poor.

Lovely crafted world, interesting story.
A bit strange that the entire party follows you around when only being able to use max 4 at a time.

I'm nicely entertained and so far the game seems okay enjoyable and somewhat challenging. I could use a quick save function a few other 'quality of life' features, but nothing major.

So far a great game considering it is 'early access'
A few issues though, i really wish it to be possible to save during the tutorial (it is long in a good way) plus for some reason my gfx runs at 100% (needs to be looked at).

My specs: 3700x, 1070 gtx, samsung evo 970 plus m2 ssd, 32 gb 3600 mhz 17cl ram, 1440p.

Back in the day i put a lot of hours in Sins of the solar empire. But i always wanted more from that game. I now realise what i wanted was x4 foundations 😀

This is so great.

But saving the game feels like it takes forever. This needs to improve.
And somewhat 'strange' and different from other games, being in tight quarters (ships and station rooms) seems to drag FPS to a very low level. Strange because in other games it is being outside in wide open spaces that drags FPS down.

Make sure to not set AA settings to high. Go for FXAA.

Also I struggle a lot with evaluating my computers performance for running this game and what a potential upgrade would do for the performance.
So to get a build in bench mark system would be really great.

I wish the game had the possibility of leaving the 1. person perspective and go into 'management mode'. Also it would be cool to be able to transfer focus to any given NPC in your company/fleet.

Very sad that this game is the type of game that only saves at specific points. I really need a manual save function :-(

This is a mess. Blank screen and crash to desktop is neverending.
This is on a windows 10 fully updated with a gtx 1070 card.

Happy with the game.
Besides being on the ground, it very much has the 'Homeworld feeling' plus the fleet management.

There is a "bug" though, when the timing of using the pause function is initiated just as a cut scene should play, then the cut scene does not play and you need to reload a save game....
