the game is alright but this abomination of a soundtrack and all the hand holding done by npcs ruin it all...
"you cant go there, theres dangerous monsters"
"theres treasure up there, look!"
"use this ladder to get to the palace from the rooftops"

let me figure this stuff out myself ffs...

the overworld soundtrack is like 2 minutes long in this garbage midi quality, which i already grew tired of after hearing it twice, great way to brain damage someone.

also wtf is with all the accents in the text? i feel like i am being educated in 5 different languages by this game. most of the time its half english, half french or w/e other country mixed in and makes it painfully slow to read.

then theres the poorly tested balance between normal (easy as piss) mode, and draconian hard monsters. have fun getting all your characters mesmerised and one shot finger flicked by Dora every single turn unless you cheese it by using wild side and sap. which seems to be the way to go for every single boss.

The story isn't much better either at the moment i'm writing this and feels like a lackluster standard shonen anime story. the only part that touched me so far was the mermaid part.

the graphics, enemy design and gameplay is alright most of the time but as you see there are too many little things that piss me off and prevent me from giving a positive review.

the amount of things to do, the sounds, the music, the enemy design and difficulty, everything about this game is amazing! i haven't played a platformer in over 15 years and this game has renewed my love for them!

indepth crafting like factorio (minus the automation) to make your head spin
graphics and gameplay like stardew valley
definitely my kind of game

what a game! in an age where every dev is taking ideas from other games and where nothing orifinal gets released anymore, Subnautica is in a league on its own, never played anything quite like it. last time i played it it didnt even have a storyline but now it does and i love it! everything about subnautica is so unique and mysterious, creepy yet beautiful at the same time.

having a strong gaming addiction for over 15 years now you could say i am dying to try something new and original, Subnautica is just that game i needed in my life!

Great and unique game!
As someone who has/had issue's with both anxiety and depression it didn't make me feel as bad as i thought it would. but i guess thats mainly because i'm not that easily disturbed.

It often gets labeled as Horror game but i can't exactly agree with that, it's more on the level of Uncanny Valley,.
it sorta reminded me of a lovely mix between undertale and corpse party, but manages to put some unique twists ontop of that.

The amount of paid dlc this company keeps pumping out while the game, even after 2 years is still riddled with bugs that never got fixed, or new ones that got added is just terrible. However i can't help but love the game when i have a night where everything works. The gameplay is very unpredictable which is what keeps this so interesting for me, you never know what you're gonna run into next. Maybe a single lonely deer, or how about a pack of 30 wildebeest storming by, or sometimes you become the hunted instead, being cornered by a bunch of angry buffalo. Other nights i dont feel like doing much at all, so i just sit in the field waiting for a flock of geese to fly by. Theres a lot of things to do and see in this beautiful game.

this is honestly one of the best games i have ever played in my life, after nearly 1000 hours of gameplay i still find myself coming back to it because unlike most games, the devs don't ever seem to give up on this game and just keep on releasing content updates (for free!) that double, even tripple the ammounts of things to do in this world, and they nail it with every patch they release too. definitely pick this up if you haven't already!

amazing little game which has countless of hours of entertainment vallue. if this game keeps getting updated and receiving content updates like terraria, (another one of my all time favorites) this could become one of my favorite games i've ever played
