Its good looking fun game.
I played it for many hours. Had great fun with people I met along.
With that said, there are griefers.
They will trigger zombie hords intentionally, than run into zombies, die and quit. Then join other game and spoil game there. There is NOTHING you can do about it, with one exception. You can enable private games, which only allow you to invite friends but forget about getting other random people if your team of 4 is incomplete.

Now game is not as popular, so its more likely you will meet griefer.
Game was sold to third party, so situation will not change. Such a shame.

Since i clearly continue playing it i cant give it negative score, feels wrong.

Amazingly fun game.
Its not for everyone.
If you do like MinMaxing - this gem is for you.
It can also be played casual, difficulty levels are there.
Graphics while outdated - are fantastic.
Game play is good and solid.
Story is also there. But if you like stories, you also need to play first part of game first.
First part also does not disappoint.

Mechnical aspect of game is good.

The only negative aspect of the game - is loading time.
Also, its not well optimised for linux. Clearly there is some leak somewhere. After some time FPS drops below what id call acceptable. Restart the game it will go away.

All in all, amazing value for money.

Game looks fantastic.
Videos are great.
Game play is great.
And Multiplayer....

lets just put it this way. Any controller but keyboard is at severe disadvantage in this game.

Not only that, but also, combos in this game are ridiculous. One mistake and you are punished for more than 100% of your HP.

Also, I did not do it, but it's within my technical abilities, to bind combos to keyboard buttons, I wonder how many people do it? Basically you can create 'press button to win' :D

If you want to kick friends ass, as long as they are not semi pro in keyboard - you may have fun, but you wont find it in online competitive matches.
There is no balance in this game.

Game released 2019. 5 years later, no sign of support of 2k and 4k monitors.

I would use FSR to fix wide screen issues if game supported at least ONE wide resolution. Nope...

Otherwise for those you 1080p peasants, it reminds me of 8bit top gun. It is fun to play.
Will change my review to positive once devs will fix it, but they will never do that. So SCREW YOU very much.

Last update is many years ago, so its now abandon-ware.

for thos on AMD llinux drivers, make sure you have mesa 21.2 or newer, or you will crash as fast as small ammount of ram you have

I have change of hearts on this one.
Is it good game? Yes. Is it allowing you to sink in many hours yes.

Yet I am refusing to do it.
Reason - performance over time is an ass. if you make big farm with ducks/chickens - your FPS goes from vsync 100, to 20 FPS. Its unacceptable. Game literally becomes slow.

I have work of the art AMD GPU, 32 core CPU Ryzen, 64 gigs of RAM.

I won't excuse fact that you are small dev team. You have made literal millions of $. instead of releasing DLC to make more $ - FIX YOUR ♥♥♥♥. its 2023. Multicpu is the norm for over a decade. Your moders do youir work for you.

Here I was. Seeking for Linux good card deck game.
I don't mind its single player.

So i started without expecting much.
So i made a few runs. And thought to myself, "oh well couple of hours well spend, grand buy". Looked at the clocks. End of my on call shift. At least 4-5 hours sunk into that.

Gorgeous game just got better, With support on Vulkan playing it on Linux with RX5700 AMD on Linux became even more performant!

Do i recommend it? Hard to say. I am Linux gamer, and this game fills in void for me. Until I upgraded my GTX 780ti game run like ♥♥♥♥ on Linux. Now that I have Radeon RX5700XT with ultrawide 100hz screen with gsync - game runs flawlessly enough for me to even pay attention to frames.

It's a little monotone, it as little repetitive, but at times challenging and allows me to mess with stats of my team, their weapons, skill lines, etc. It hits all of my right buttons. I like how bullets are not free.

Are there better games of similar genre? Sure! Is it good enough to be bought? If you like genre -sure!

It doesn't have nice video cut scenes. It doesn't have voice narration. Game is linear. With that said it still manages to be fun for me. Controlls are bit sucky for PC. But they are manageable. Game could use a bit polishing, with that said, its stable and NOT buggy. At least not for me.

Woudl I buy it again? Back when i got the game first - I would not. Now a few updates later - absolutely would.

Scam developers, avoid.
Linux port promised never delivered.
