It's not easy doing justice to the Legacy of Doom, what it begun all those years ago with the tale of two Johns...
But, not every game can pull me back time and time again, to step ever further into madness by insane difficulties in the end, to bash my teeth in but not feeling like it was overly cheap.
And any game that holds its water way after it's been beaten through, over and over again, is a great game in my books.

Rev your chainsaws, gentlemen - there's ripping and tearing to be had. Until it is done.

After Human Revolution, I wasn't sure about Mankind Divided, even moreso when I heard about some random issues with some PC setups.
So then here comes a free three-day window from Steam to try and play the game, ended up playing straight through it, thank you very much for that.
And overall? I think it's a major improvement over Human Revolution, offering far more ways and methods to tackle the challenges presented, and aknowleding at least some of them. And the graphical power of the game was astounding.
It's not without its faults however, long loading times when switching between major areas nagged a bit, discouraging me a bit from hopping between said areas, some missions and areas seemed to be rather confusing at times, and map not helping across the hidden pathways even once discovered, and sometimes the retaliation for mistakes was rather severely punishing, but all in all I didn't find anything ragequit-worthy.
Thank you Steam for the free-play midweek,
Thank you Squenix, Eidos and everything in-between for making this game.
8/10, would Deux Ex again.

I don't even know where to begin.
NieR Automata hit me as a Platinum game, I love Platinum's combat so I hopped into Automata hoping for the best.
I ended up completely falling in love with the game. It's not without it's faults, but the pros far outweigh the cons. PC Port at start also is rough to say the least, but it could be fixed with a simple mod to fix the resolution issues.
So solid gameplay, lot of fun, a ton of lore to be found, an interesting story, lots of stuff to do, quirky humor.
But that's not why I'm head over heels into this game.
It's because unlike every other game I've played, this one left a deep emotional attachment to it.
It would go into spoilers to list every single reason, so all I can say is try it out yourself, the gameplay, story, world, it's all good - so try it out, see if it clicks for you.
