it's a classic Art pice worth playing, especially if you like fps games, but it's far from being perfect.
I did like a lot of things like the traps and surprising attacks diverse enemies... about this game, especially the first 2 episodes but then it drags on a bit, the same corridors over and over again, even if you don`t get lost I found it boring and when I did get lost, annoying.

you have some action-packed adrenalin fights and then you just walk around looking for a key or the exit which takes you away from the pace of killing. It was fine in the beginning to have mazes but after a while, I just could not find my self having fun with dose kind of levels. Don't get me wrong you still will find a way out faster than some other games where you get lost for hours.

another thing was the enemy placement on some parts, like a bridge where you have no space to doge and have to kill multiple enemies with a ton of health that almost instakill you. I found my self exploiting the enemy quite a bit where I could, because again some enemies you can not doge with movement in an open space. its a game from 1996 so you can not be too harsh with it but if this game was made today, apart from the graphic, it would be decent but not great.

The Ending was disappointing too.
Oh and the Spawn enemy has way too much health they are like the Rats on other games but harder to kill, i often did not have enough ammo to use more effective guns, the shotgun playng with no crossair on hard with the spread made it realy anoyng to deal with, the exploding dmg range also did not help with it.

TLDR: good old school fps to get this cheap but don`t expect a masterpiece.

If you like Ego-Shooter this Game is for you. Its a fantastic game! no really i am serious even though overkill ♥♥♥♥♥♥ us.
My experience in PD2 is from the Past. The Future of PD2 doesn't look good and to be honest i am tired of being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ from behind. I stopped playing a while ago i rarely payed full price for a DLC. For me all went down and got worse around the Gage Historical Pack and for sure after diamond (1 year ago). PD2 loyal Veteran Players and Overkill fans defending them so hard for all this time are finally realizing who Overkill truly is.
so should you buy it? give it a try but remind yourself, who does people are and what they really want and how much they care about hardcore fans and The Paday Community in General.
