Modes completed Story, Towers, Invasions Seasons 3 & 4

Short and simple the game is fun. Its a fighting game. If you are looking for a game is going to change the genre this isn't for you. If you don't know what Mortal Kombat by now, well I am happy to see you have found your way out from under the rock you have been hiding under. This review is not for you.

The Story is great. Towers, well they are just that, towers, and Invasions would be better if they made a few changes to them but overall they are a tad bit to long but it is nice you can unlock a bit of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ through playing them.

This game is just like all other games, released to early and sure it could have been better but I'm positive it will get there. If you are a fan of the series pick it up there is fun to be had in the game. If you look closely most of the negative reviews have over 50+ hours of playing the game. If you ask me if you can get that many hours out of a game you got your moneys worth.

I still need to play the xpac.

I have really enjoyed this game. I would suggest playing with friends because that makes for the best experience. Everyone wants to compare this to other games of its classification. Since the games title does not included Left 4 Dead that probably means its not Left 4 Dead. So if you are wanting it to be that I would suggest you save yourself the money and go elsewhere.

The overall movement and weapons are pretty good. But you will find yourself drawn to specific weapons due to your style of play or deck that you have built. The story is pretty good and the characters are enjoyable. The atmosphere does a fairly good job of setting the tone.

Up to this point I have completed the game on recruit and I am starting Act 3 on Veteran. I suggest you play through on recruit first just so you can get some cards built up. Having a decent deck helps you progress easier through harder difficulties. But just because I say it is easier, I am not implying that it is easy. The game is always trying to keep you in a place where you feel like you could die at any moment. I am not new to FPS games and this game can be very challenging at times due to the total chaos that can consume you at a moments notice.

The card system has some serious potential. Remember your deck is not the only thing that is important. You do not want to run the same build as someone on your team because you will soon find out if everyone is running lets say assault rifle spec that you will not have enough ammo for all of you. The order of your deck matters so make sure to put your strongest cards at the top of your deck or you will be regretting it later. The cards are given to you in order so always be sure to plan ahead.

Cards take a long time to get and even when farming the faster levels still take a great amount of time to get them all. The way supply lines work now they require you to buy things in a specific order no matter if you wanted it or not. I suggest they make two separate supply shops one for cosmetics/banners/sprays and the other for cards and let people pick what they want. As it sits now people have no clue which line gives what card or how far away they are from it.

Weapon Upgrades need to be transferable from weapon to weapon if the upgrade is compatible. There also needs to be a way to compare each weapons upgrades. I may be looking at an upgrade that will increase my overall damage but what I could be removing is something that causes enemies to stumble. Right now there is no way to tell what you have currently against what you are looking to swap with. Also another huge problem is if you do put the new upgrade one and it drops your current one to the ground for anyone to pick up. People will often equip one just to see what they have on currently and fully intend to reequip the upgrade but cannot because it was swiped.

Is it worth your money? In short yes. The games content comes from different builds you use and currently and they have plans to expand upon decks, characters, and special infected in the future. If you are a solo player I would wait until the game goes on sale but if you have friends that play grab this one up quick. Its a fun ride.
