I have very mixed feelings about this game. On the one hand, I love Pathfinder, so playing a PC version of one of my favorite tabletops was great. Story was fun, customization was fun, and gameplay was overall great. On the other hand, I felt the endgame was a complete turd. Difficulty just spiked an ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AMOUNT, and it wasn't even due to anything cool: it was due to creature spam and "save or suck" spam by said creatures. My recommendation is yes, but buy it on sale and prepare yourself.

EDIT: Was enjoying the endless dungeon crawl DLC, smashing through levels with considerable ease. First difficult fight is on level 20, or 21. It wasn't just difficult, it was impossible. I got completed annihilated. There was no ramp up, and there was no way I could be prepared for that fight because the dungeon chooses enemies at random. Just threw in a boss that spammed debuffs on me until everyone was perma-paralyzed. What a joke. I don't mind losing but you really take the fun away when it's just an kobayashi maru situation out of nowhere.

Long, complex game that has provided me hundreds of hours of entertainment and I suspect will provide hundreds more. Developers continue to add content and fix any bugs that crop up, which is great. Basic gameplay is fairly easy to figure out, with plenty to learn as you ramp up the difficulty. Each game is unique, with new unfolding dramas and stories in your little galaxy.
