Was a little hesitant with buying this version because of 2 reasons.
1) I already own the classic version in my GOG account
2) The first time I saw this re-make back in 2017, it had horrible reviews.

After having a go at the classic version that I own, I realized that it was merely nostalgia that fueled my playthrough as the game's graphics did not age well and pretty much turned off anyone I tried introducing the game to. Don't even get me started on its surprisingly steep learning curve which burns beginners right away.

On a whim, I went and bought this re-make. Told myself that it was time to give this game a shot, after all how bad could it be?

Answer to that is NOWHERE near bad. In-fact its the total opposite. This is how I wished CONSTRUCTOR was presented to an 11 year old me. I was mindblown as to how every aspect of the game was polished nearly to perfection. System 3 added in new scenarios, new features, a MUCH NEEDED TUTORIAL, new buildings on top of polishing the base game. No longer will beginners have to suffer through the classic's cryptic trial and error gameplay.

The game is still difficult but System 3 made it easier newcomers and veterans to learn (or re-learn) the mechanics of the game through the new scenarios and tutorial mode.

I look forward to what else System 3 might add into the game in the future. Thank you for your wonderful efforts System 3 :)

Buy this game if you're looking for a challenging city building game get into with or without friends.

DON'T buy this game if you're expecting a CITIES:SKYLINES or SIMCITY experience.
