TL:DR = Its fantastic and well worth the price. This isn’t “DLC”. It’s an Expansion.

**Pros**
*Story: Holy hell. This story is fantastic and, at least for me, an emotional roller coaster. I can’t recall any other game that will put you through so many emotions as Cyberpunk 2077, and Phantom Liberty does not disappoint. I’m still reeling from it a bit and I finished it a week ago. It was so good I even watched the ending credits because it was such a “spy movie” type of credits sequence that ties into the story so well.

*Gameplay: With the 2.0 update, a lot has changed and improved. The skill tree is much more fluent and focused, and the skills make more sense at a glance as to what they do, allowing you to more easily decide how you want to improve V. The added Relic tree adds a few well rounded abilities for everything, as well as some skills to beef up your cyber arms abilities to make them more viable as a weapon. Even the passive skill tree adds some pretty good and useful benefits such as increased carrying capacity and perk points. Vehicle combat is a good addition (and you can quick hack from your car onto other cars as well). Vehicles can have their tires blown/shot out which affects their handling, but you can also get some perks to improve your vehicles (including durability).

*Characters: The new characters are very well done. So much so that even the ones we don’t see much can leave an impression.

*New toys: Some new weapons which are interesting, as well as + level upgrades for them. Cybernetic parts also have these boosted upgrades and if you get the right perks, you can tweak the passive abilities of them to better suit your playstyle. Some new cars, including more heavily armed, and armored ones. New wardrobe system is pretty cool and imo a much better way to do clothing and fits more inline with this universe.

**Cons**
* There are still some small bugs here and there. Nothing major though. Consequence of the Red engine I would imagine.

* The content for PL is pretty isolated form the rest of the city. You venture outside of Dogtown a couple times here and there, but the majority of the time you’ll be spending in Dogtown. This also includes references to it from previous characters (ie love interests). They have a few lines of dialogue for it, but nothing major and once you get though it, those are done. For the most part, Dogtown and the rest of NC are separate areas that don’t ‘talk’ to each other.

* While there are new outfits are cool, I was hoping to see more of the more unique outfits ive seen on NPC such as the ‘light’ jackets and clothing with LEDs and lighting effects on them.

Overall. PL is fantastic and im looking forward to a new playthrough of it. Its worth full price.

While the idea is simple, and if ALL you are going to do is play with another person, then it might be ok.

But for one, its from Hasbro, which has shown lately to be greedy. Second, the AI Cheats.. badly. So if you were looking to play this game solo, i wouldnt recommend it.

It has microtransations, but from what i can tell, it shouldnt affect the 'basic game of Battleship'. They have other commanders with different ship types and different shaped boards. Some included, some you have to buy.

Overall, its pretty underwhelming.

I purchased this both on Steam and Xbox long before Epic purchased it. Now they are FORCING ME to use an Epic account just to play, even though I PURCHASED IT. I understand if they do that for those who got it free, but i paid money for it and should not be required to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EPIC account just to play. ♥♥♥♥ Epic.

Played it back when i purchased it, now its free to play, but the DLC is still ungodly expensive. Its out of control.

But the main issue now is the game is completely unplayable in its install state. The game starts and im able to hit a button to go to the menu, then past it, but when it gets to the playstyle screen, NO CONTROLS WORK. I cannot do anything past this point with either my keyboard OR my controller.

DOA used to be a good series, but its clear they dont care about maintaining a good game, only about charging as much as they can for each aspect of it, and half-assed PC port.

The idea and potential of this game is there. An open sandbox survival game where you fight & control dinosaurs is a neat idea. The problem is the developers don't seem to want to fix the major issues this game has had for years. (I've checked. Many problems have existed since launch, some even before that). Crashes are frequent (which they haven’t even bothered to change the name of the windows process from “Shooty game”), and bugs are apparent. Relying on modders to fix the game is no way to make a game, and they are taking advantage of their work without compensation for things that should be done by them (the developers). On top of all of that, the game is Extremely un-optimized and runs poorly, eating up far more system resources than it should with frequent lag spikes and loading issues.

I cannot recommended this game until the devs get off their ass and clean up the game code, fix the bugs and make the game run more efficiently and optimize it. (Note: this game was given to me as a gift from a friend)

Based on older games from a more challenging time and all created by one person. Be warned, this game isn’t for the faint of heart. It is difficult. As this is a throwback, this game isn’t going to hold your hand. If you are used to current games that point you in the right direction, give you waypoints that show you where you need to go, or constantly spew out hints at you about things that should be obvious to you, this game might be too difficult for you. This game is made for those who like to challenge themselves to think & who like puzzles. It is not for Call of Duty scrubs.

If an actual challenging game doesn’t make you cry, piss, moan and give up 5 minutes in, then this game may be for you. If not, go back to playing your tacky mil-sims against 12 year olds.
