I recently picked up this game on sale, recalling my past countless hours playing the original Ghost Recon and Ghost Recon 2, or even Rainbow 6. These are the titles that made the Tom Clancy franchise. Meticulous planning, plotting every step of of your team on the tactical map, then executing it with commands. Careful use of your resources, selecting the perfect loadout for each team mate given the mission, and team mates that died permanently.

That is not what this game does. This is just Far Cry with friends. The squad commands are horrific, amounting to not much more than “Go over there” and “Rally up”. You don't even have the ability to edit your squad loadout. There are no consequences to failing your mission, and they are almost impossible to fail.

Honestly, this game is OK for what it is, a Far Cry open world knock off. But this is not what a Tom Clancy game should be striving for.
