I don't usually make reviews and forget me for my english, it's my second language.

I will mostly do comparison to other game since that what is everybody do but I will try to exploit that as much as I can.

So far I played 6 hours not much but I did enjoy them and want to come back for more.


First let's talk about Left 4 dead, one of the greatest zombie game in my opinion. yes it's will be more comparable to this game, in this arcadish action packed zombie running killing gore fest. OTWD doesn't do the same thing however. it shows that you can have a slower pace with the same amount of adrenaline, same coop with different approach. If you play with friend well that is a blast, you can blame the game for the stranger you get in-games but as myself I always try to find the weakness in a group and to it my burden. The only thing I don't know why they didn't put in the game is the voice communication, bad choice.

Second Dying light, people are comparing this gem. it is no the same thing. it is a zombie game but open world with parkour and it is a beautiful game. OTWD is also beautiful, great graphics. In dying light, I remember the messy bug fest it was at the begining, I have to start a new game because my file got corrupt but it turn out to be worth it. if you want an open world game, sorry but that is not what OTWD have to offer. there is no lack of bug trust me and the AI is a little weird at time but hey, it is first day. look at a game like Diablo 3 who was a complete mess at start and turn out to be a great game for me still today.


At last payday 1-2, well they are the same guys. if you like payday or even like the style but want zombie instead well that is pretty much it. the same adrenaline feel, the same tactics but in a different set. they have to do a game for millions of people with different opinion, I get that someone with not like the game. A lot of people as judge this game on the beta but I don't know, I didn't play those betas. so far with all those don't buy this game video, I feel kind of wronged.


That's pretty much it in conclusion:

Need some tweak on the AI.

I've seen worst issue with connectivity in other games. It will not ruin your game at all.

voice communication need to be insert in-game.

Will it worth 69$(sorry I'm Canadian, I'm so sorry). I guess only time will tell but so far I don't regret it.

I might add or change my descion once I play a little more.

After 40 hours in.

I would say it is good, little buggy but good, is it worth 69$ I would say yes because of the incoming free DLC, I will still go for more after 40 hours in so if you need a partner don't hesitate to add me, cleared everything even the weekly. Only thing left to do is help.
