4.5 Stars - An engaging strategy epic that will easily hit home for fans of games like Civilisation and the HoMM series.

I hadn't played the earlier AoW gamess when I started this but was very happy with the mix of empire building and tatical battles. The core game contians two campaigns which alone can be 100+ game hours.

The combinations of racial benefits and class skills give you strategic freedom into your city buiding and army mix. Heroes have RPG elements and will become significantly powerful with both levels and loot over the course of the campaign.

Artwork can appear clumsy on lower resolutions tho the prevelance of small detiails will overcome this if you can play on higher settings

Totally Awesome! True to the orginal game, flows well for fast action gameplay.

Great value for money, easy to multiplay and support friend based pvp.

This painted quite a nice story to explore. Enjoyed the plot / mystery elements as you explore the damaged pysche of the protagonist. However it is only four hours of gameplay at a stretch

Another thumbs up for double fine

This was a great little game. Soundtrack was a big plus and suitable dark comic themes (dark at least for a pie chasing fat man). Interesting puzzles adapted in different ways to keep it goods. Cheap , fun , recommended.

Only 1 hour of game time. Guy takes a walk while coming to terms with tragedy. Not a lot more to it.

A charming little game, cute, interesting puzzles BUT weak engine and very buggy. Will need assistance for windows 7 machines to avoid save game loss
