2 Stars - Good way to price down the DLC but it should have included all DLC

4 Stars - Funny, family friendly take on the movie.

Had great time with this one, Played Co-Op with my son and we both had a good time.

More modern lego games have ported better and had better features

3.5 Stars - Strong Co-op Shooter Gameplay

Thoroughly enjoyed playing co-op missions and experiementing with different chartacters and team make-up. Co-Op missions are well designed and include a small variety of bosses.

The game does offer other play modes but a limited player base has left pvp limited.

Overall, there's a lot of fun to be had here, come with your own group and don't pay full price.

4 Stars - Confronting game around dealing with depression

This was a touching insight to some aspects of depression in the modern world. Play through the story getting a deeper understanding of the hero, his world and the relationship between the two.

The game is short and the value is in the story-telling which is impactful, well written and gives you plenty to think about.

Overall, this game gave me the chance to take another look at how I consider depression in real life.

3.5 Stars - As a free to play shooter this is well constructed and enjoyable.

This has been a bit of fun. The game comes accross as reasonably polished and the various player abilities do mix it up well.

The card issue character builds is also novel, keeps the game somewhat balanced, however the presence of hackers can be a bit off-putting.

Overall this has good fun to play and as it is free to play you can easily setup with friends in team (or otherwise) play.

3 Stars - An immersive build game, that can be a pleasure to play.

When I first got into this game I fell straight into it. Well build and beautiful I enjoyed mining the varied resources and searching through the tech trees to build my ultimate city and expand.

However over time the immersion was lost. The game can be quite slow and the end game was unrewarding. After a reasonable play time I found that many objectives offered too little for too much. Multiplayer attempts failed to work well, and too often the map just seemed to run out, leaving goals unmanageable.

Overall, if this is your style of game you will get a lot out of your first 30 odd hours of playtime but by 60 expect the cracks to start to appear.

4.5 Stars - A turn based american football style game adapted from the Warhammer Universe

I had never played the board game but was instantly impressed by this game. The turn based games can punish errors quickly but the game is won when willingness to take risks and luck come together. This is all backed up with player experience, team cash management and the risk of injury or death to any participants.

The many teams can offer different plays styles from ball handling finesse to simply bashing the enemies heads in. Game play is dice controlled and nuffle can be dangerous.

Overall I enjoyed slugging away at the matches and experiementing with different team builds. I made my own strategies and really enjoyed getting my skills mix right to back this.

3.5 Stars - A point and click adventure around gangsters and an Alcatraz jail break.

This game offers solid design and build in the point and click genre. The game goes for a Noir type approach and the player splits between the two game leads.

Overall the puzzles are well designed and should offer a least a little to think about. A sucker for Daedalic games I found myself enjoying my time in 1954.

4 Stars - A colourful shooter with strong co-op functionality.

This was my first entrant to the Borderlands games and I was impressed. Although not the most precise shooter this game was a lot of fun. The core game plays through a loose storyline that can be solo or co-op. Weapons are regularly looted and can be quite diversive, enabling the player to find a combo that suits.

The borderlands is humoursly filled with pyscho's (good and bad) as well as a plethora of dangerous natural inhabitants and the over-arching presence of Jack who plays the key villian role (well).

Overall I found the co-op play through of this to be very satisfying and I recommend giving it a go.

Gun specs can mislead the player as guns appear more about fit than numbers. Over analysing weapon choices may distract from game play

2 Stars - A slice of JRPG culture that may not appeal to new entrants to this style.

Although the game trys to build on a strong platform of coordinated tactical battles and gripping Japanese story telling I found this game missed the mark.

I am not a regular in the JRPG arena and I found this game to be a slugging grindfest. Repititive tatical battles are often duplicated and unengaging. The base game comes with a level of DLC type content which should mean that a small portion of your party is over powered from the start while the rest are left looking weak and fragile. So I added additional DLC weapons and found my OP party stuck grinding pixies in a forest.

There are other aspects to this game (crafting, battle pets, etc) but these only slowed the game down further. Overall if you not sure this is the game for you it proabably isn't.
