The biggest problem this game has is, that people forget how awful the predecessor was on release.
Dirt Rally 2.0 is now the holy grail for many Rally Sim(cade) fans and it was absolutely awful to release. Much more awful than WRC is now.
I played DR2.0 when it became available in Early Access some years ago. Physics were bad, selection of tracks were bad, performance was bad, price was bad. Almost everything there was, the community hated.

EA WRC 2023 is better in almost every aspect. There are some problems that need to be fixed but for me this are just some little things some patches will fix. But it is worth mentioning that there are many players that have problems with performance and micro stutters. I cant talk about those because i am not having a single problem regarding performance.
Running an 10900 and a 3090 and it runs just fluid.
Also some people are ranting about Fanatec shifters and wheels and handbrakes not getting recognized. On my system with all my equipment coming from Fanatec it worked Day 1. It even shows me the buttons in the menu with the right colour and label, so i can navigate the whole ingame menu with my wheel. I read many complaints that menu navigation is awful with a wheel and i just cant see why. To me it is perfect, actually no other Racing Game shows me the buttons in the menu. Most games saying something about "Button 8", well yeah great...how am i supposed to know what "Button 8" is without trial and error. In WRC it says "Top Right" and the symbol is a black button. So i know without thinking or trying which button is meant. Best menu in any racing game if youre sitting in your Rig and want to control everything with your wheel.
I have mouse and keyboard installed to my Rig but i prefer to navigate with my wheel, if it is possible, especially in VR.

Which brings us to the points i am missing in this game. VR is an absolute must, i know they said its coming after release and i absolutely hope it will. Game will still be awesome without it but if they do it right with VR, this will become an absolute blast.
One other thing i am really missing from DR2.0 are the Daily/Weekly and Monthly challenges. Please bring them back, Multiplayer is nice and Clubs are very nice too but driving the challenges everyday was better in my opinion.
Get rid of Regularity Rally and give us back the challenges. No one is seriously playing RR because its just not fun.

So overall this is the best Rally game on the market right now. Yeah i know RBR and yeah it is very good, im with you there, but setting it up is not fun. Graphics are totally outdated. WRC is not that hardcore in terms of damage and i wish it would be more realistic in that matter. But lets be honest, you crash in RBR and the race is over.
You crash in EA WRC and you can go on, but your race is also over if were talking about winning or driving a fast time that is comparable to other good drivers. Also you will feel the damage on your car. Pretty heavy depending on the crash. Lost a wheel? Damaged your engine? Cracked your Gearbox? Have fun driving to the finish line. It gets really difficult to stay on track or reach speeds youll need to reach to get somewhere good on the leadberboard.
If you are in an online championship, its basically over. But yeah in the end i shouldnt be able to hit a tree head on with 150km/h and still be able to drive after that. But that is just how it is and i am okay with that.

Content is huge btw. You pay 50€ and get the whole game with 17 locations if i am not mistaken and 75 cars and lots of game modes. There is some content behind an EA membership but its laughable, youre not missing out on anything. Its just skins and some challenges in Moments mode.
If you wanted to get near that content in DR2.0 when it released youll needed to pay 100€.

Absolutely recommend this game to rally fans! If you got a Simrig this is the best you can get in my opinion. Cant talk about Gamepad, as i am only playing with wheel but with the right equipment it is an absolute blast.

Not many new Point and Click adventures out there today. Luckily, this is a pretty good one.
Giving me some Syberia vibes, theme is completely different but youre having a robot sidekick and some myterious story going on. Voice acting in English is nice, not something totally awesome but it gets the job done, without sounding awkward. Havent tried the German voice acting, but read that it is not that good, so im staying with the english voices.
The riddles are logical and even if you get stuck, there is an integrated walkthrough in the main menu,
One thing that stands out in this game are the very pretty hand drawn backgrounds. Really nice to look at.
Also the price is ridiculous low, would have paid much more for this.

Dear devs!
Seriously, you'll ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ need to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod so we can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play with Coffee Beans.
Or give us a damn Addon! Would stick money up your ass for that. With voice over and all that ♥♥♥♥. Will change this review to "negativ" if we're not getting something like this fast!

Its Tetris!
With crazy effects, an incredible Soundtrack and VR support.
The whole background is vibrating to the music. The music gets faster as you progress, keeping you on your toes.

I was very sceptical about this game. I own almost every racing sim on the market and wasnt really sure which one would be my favorite and my go to sim overall. Always been more of the rally type gamer, like DR2.0 and WRC Generations.
After trying iRacing, i finally found the best road racing sim for me. Like I mentioned before, i was very sceptical. Monthly subscription, paying for cars and tracks, outdated graphics. This whole concept didnt seem to be very appealing to me. But i wanted a sim with a good MP system and serious racing. So here i am, first bought a subscription for a month, one week later i bought the year subscription and cars and tracks for 90€, to really begin with after i left Rookie class.
This is some serious racing. In the time i played so far, everyone is driving fair. no ones trying to ram you. Pretty adult community, which i really like. That big paywall might be the reason, the community is so nice because everyone paid for driving good races and no one is playing to spoil your fun.
Also it has the best MP System i encountered so far.
You wont get graphics like in ACC or AMS2, as i am only driving in VR, i couldnt care less. Graphics are not ugly and absolutely good enough to get you immersed and i got many other things to worry about when im driving.
Im driving with a pretty beastly Simrig, the ForceFeedback is awesome, feeling pretty much everything i need to feel, but it did take some time to set it up properly. So you will be spending some time getting your settings right, but sim players are used to it i guess. Havent played a racing sim, where it didnt take some hours to set everything up in a way you feel comfortable with.

In conclusion, if youre more into casual racing, this isnt the game for you. If you dont want to spent a lot of money, stay far away from this game. It will get really expensive compared to other games in this genre or compared to other games in general. But if youre looking for serious races with a community that is looking for the same thing, that will also help you with tips while youre just a beginner, look no further.
To me, this is the best Racing Sim on the market. There is no looking back. Other sims became irrelevant after playing this.

Oh and buy it over the homepage from iRacing. Dont buy on Steam, you can then generate a key for Steam afterwards. You will get some nice discounts you wont get from Steam.

My first WRC, own WRC10 but never played it. Decided to just buy the newer version on release and soo glad I did. Been playing DR2.0 a lot and this is superior in almost every aspect.
Force Feedback is awesome! I can feel basically everything through my wheel. Much better than in Dirt Rally.
Some say sounds are worse than in DR, this may be true but i have absolutely no idea what these car sounds in real life, so i dont care. Sound is fine for me.
Graphics are not state of the art, but there is so much detail, that I barely get to see, because I have to deal with staying on track. But everytime I crash( happens very often) I get to see a little bit of the scenery and it looks really nice. Especially the Japan Rally looks awesome.
Weather effects are very nice, driving at night looks cool. Nothing to complain.
Handling of the cars seem to be better than in DR2.0. Gravel, tarmac, snow feels completely different. In DR2.0 i did really struggle on tarmac, not so in WRCG. Feels totally different in a good way.
Lets see what Codemaster/EA do with the licence next year. In case they develope an arcade microtransaction hell, not much to bother on my end.
Can play this game for years, if EA will do what they always do..

Big thumbs up, if youre into Rally Simulations! Best one I played so far!

First one of a trilogy, dont bother playing this if youre not planning to play the sequels.
But if you do, youll be getting one of the best, if not the best JRPG to date. What an awesome world, what an awesome story with loveable characters. Very well written!
This series needs much more attention.

Pretty awesome adventure series.
I missed the first two installments of this series back in the day. And skipped the 3rd one because of the bad reviews. Now, this one came out and i thought it would to be a good moment to play through the whole series.
And oh my god. One of the best adventure series to date. The first two are pretty dated, not running that well on modern systems and Win10, but i didnt care because the story got me hooked from the start. Pretty classic point and click adventure style gameplaywise.
The third one is much more modern but sadly riddled with bugs, like disappearing mouse cursor and some camera problems. But its playable as of now and it was a great ride, with alle the references to the first two games.
Am at day 3 now, playing the Syberia series, finished the first 3 in that 3 days, which means a lot, because im usually not playing adventures in like one sitting.
Just started the 4th one and I can surely say, what an amazing point and click adventure it is. Graphics are nice, controls are far better than in the 3rd installment. No bugs so far and the story starts right where the 3rd part ended.
Do yourself a favor and play the whole series. So much love in detail, storytelling is awesome, characters that you will encounter throughout the game are well written and will return every so often.
Voice acting is top notch. Puzzles are pretty logical, so youre not having the problem of combining everything in your inventory, hoping youll get it right sometime.

All in all, an amazing game in an amazing series. Just play the first 3 before the fourth, or youll wont understand the whole image of this world.
Must buy for every oldschool point and click adventure fan!

Edit: After finishing part 4...i am sooo ready for a 5th Syberia! What a great journey that was so far!
