Why play on highest difficulty or with permadeath?
Games in general are, and always have been, tools of education.
Each is used to teach something: Maybe just that effort pays of or that overcoming a challenge is a reward in itself.
Always choosing easy (nowadays normal) says a lot about you now, doesn't it?
