nice

very fun game in general, especially with friends, you can try many fun strats and plans with survivor friends. and very fun to play builds with some very fun to use killer powers.
good events in general, and a lot of stuff to accomplish, even when solo (rift challenges, tome challenges, event items you only get by playing, etc.)...


...HOWEVER
- as a survivor, there's a lot of boring killers that you can either just simply lose against with absolutely no chance, or do your absolute best for half an hour to get one survivor out the gates, and the others die :)
- fun perks get nerfed almost every big patch, so, if you play it more and you start to like certain "good" perks a lot, USE IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN WHILE YOU CAN, because that ♥♥♥♥'s getting nerfed.
- and for other, not that interesting perks, sometimes BHVR picks them up and either boosts them all the way to the busted level, or just making something just as useless as it was before, which makes you question who the ♥♥♥♥ thought of those ideas, and why is he paid
- solo queue is the most disfuntional thing u can think of, and "mmr" is a joke: one match you get good teammates with good game sense or just average survivors with "okay" awareness; the next one, you get 3 brainless idiots with 0 awareness or 0 desire to even try to help
- tunneling ("tunnel vision", a killer tracking only you the entire game, disregarding other survivors and generators) is something the game tolerates, so, even though throughout the updates BHVR made some changes to prevent tunneling, its still not that hard for some killers to find your ass everytime and take you off the game in less than 5 minutes.

- for killer, a lot of killers have stupid, dumb add-ons to their power, that either do close to nothing, or are extremely busted + some killers have a basekit flawed at the point you NEED to use certain add-ons to make its power useful or worth using (ex:. Knight)
- sometimes, the developers tweak the mmr system without telling anybody, which makes something already ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EVEN MORE ♥♥♥♥♥♥, making your experience just really unpredictable (which can be good, or just unbearable), like if you been playing for fun, just practicing a killer or something, and suddenly youre against demigods with annoying perks and immaculate knowledge of the game.


but billy got reworked, so its all good.

this game hooked me since the beginning, was the first one i played on pc, and ive been playing it for 5 years w/o getting tired of it. pisses me off sometimes, but its a great game

update: epic games bought this game, and now it has become lazy. plus, a lot of stuff in the game have evolved to not being that "hooking":
- trading, one of the things that hooked me on the game, got taken out;
- RLCS, the biggest tournament of the game, isn't that interesting anymore, mostly because players look almost emotionless unless they win it all. back then, there were very charismatic players and coaches, and they made watching RLCS fun not only for the gameplay, but for the entertainment;
- Psyonyx's Rocket League team has very little communication with the community, which makes it hard to make changes in the game taking in count what the player base thinks;
- the content being put in the game has gotta be the laziest, most unasked for ♥♥♥♥ ive ever seen, some stuff are okay, but then... cars with weird shapes and hitboxes, with ridiculous prices (there was a car that costed 26 dollars);
- as there isnt a free market anymore, you cant just want an item, and decide to buy it. youve gotta wait for the shop to bring it, and a vast majority of the items is usually overpriced compared to back then.

so basically, if you like the idea of soccer with cars and the gameplay of it, this game is really fun, but for content, it is going down more and more with time
