You wont "win" at this game

I am a long time fan, and will continue to suffer through the game, and hope that the devs, or modders are able to fix many of its issues.

They very nearly nailed the setting, and the art style.
The units look good, but could have done with cleaner textures, they look murky and ill-defined from a distance.

Everything else ranges between merely ok and piss-poor.

Most egregious are the hitches during game play, likely due to it loading sounds, the inscrutable, UI, and the incredible amount of time the player spends waiting. Waiting on animations, on the camera, on the game to respond, and most especially for every single unit to fire every weapon it has one at a time.
Two experienced players would get through the same match, with the same units playing the table top game in less time than a single player playing this game against the AI.

It it truely baffling why HBS did not delay the release for another six months to address the rookie mistakes present in this game.

MIdling gameplay. Money grubbing company.
