Where to start.

Visually, its ok. Voice acting is terrible. Missions are really weird, like you get massive battles with whole divisions, then stupid missions where you have 10 men to recapture a tank and half the German Army after you.

Worst of all is the Always connected to a server requirement, just to play the campaign.

I regret Buying this game.

Company of Heroes 3 is far superior. There I said it.

So, I am aware of the CA/ SEGA DLC issue.
My review is not featuring that.

I have had the game since launch, and truthfully, I tried, I really did. But...
I cannot recommend this. The campaigns are boring, The Interface looks awful and confusing.
It runs mediocre. And its a graphical step backwards. The world map looks like Warcraft 3.
Worst still, is Immortal Empires is far too big, you can't see everything, and all factions either die within 10 mins,
or they all declare war on you. A very unbalanced Total war.

TWWII and both Vortex and Mortal Empires is far better. Everything feels better in that game.

What a game!!!

After playing the Demo a couple of years ago, I knew it could be good.
But its great. Its like F.E.A.R and Soldier of Fortune 2 got cross bred.

Forget story, all out action and a bit of horror. Best Bullet Time I;ve ever used.
Highly recommend if you want a nostalgic but fun FPS

We're on an Express Elevator to Hell, Goin' Down.

Aliens Dark Descent is one hell of a ride. Developed by Tindalos Interactive and Focus Entertainment, They have outdone themselves with this game.

Set After the events of Alien 3, and introducing some excellent storytelling, with Xenomorphs, Crazed Cultists, and the morally questionable Weyland Yutani.

With a pretty good opening and tutorial aboard the Mining station above the Planet Lethe, you'll find your Marines and Survivors stranded on the planet.
An excellent mix of Real Time tactics and RPG elements. You'll care for your squads, and you wont get many. Permadeath is real. Any Marines lost, is a total loss.
Decent Graphics with a sort of comic book style to characters, (think Dishonoured). Gorgeous Lighting and massive maps. You will be looking at a couple of hours on each map.
Sound is good, Voice acting is acceptable, and weapons sound great. Love that the original Soundtrack to Aliens appears at times.
This is a great game, and totally worth every penny

People, Don't listen to the bad reviews, its a PRE-PURCHASE BETA. Its not entirely finished. Yes it crashes, yes it runs awful. But damn is it a good time. ONE of the BEST 40K games, up there with Dawn of War and Space Marine. Its beautiful, Tough, And FATSHARK nailed the Aesthetics perfectly. If you want a Next Gen 40K experience, this is it (until Space Marine 2)

I really wish I'd picked this one up earlier. I recently played SS4 on origin access, and have now bought the game and all DLC. And what a game it is!
Great, tactical RTS campaign, That spans virtually all major battles of World War II. Everything is here from Stalingrad, Operation Overlord, Arnhem Bridge, Leningrad, Berlin, and with DLC, the Africa Campaigns, The Finnish Soviet war, The Battle for Dunkirk, and The Pacific war between the US and the Empire of Japan.

The Game runs on Unity, and looks really good, with excellent lighting effects, and well modelled Vehicles and Aircraft. Troops are a bit simple looking, but do the job. Physics are quite hilarious, with bodies flying 100 ft in the air, and trucks pushing tiger tank remains around.

But, thats little things that don't break the game. The pathfinding can be a little annoying, with tanks occasionally not knowing how to reverse.

If I had one thing to say I would like to see, Its the German forces having camoflague patterns on the vehicles, After all, after 1942 all German vehicles were Dark yellow with Green and Brown Patterns. Seeing Grey vehicles in 1944 and 45 is a little inaccurate.

Overall 9/10, A great game with all DLC.
