One of the all time great games. As satisfying as games like SoTC or Journey. Brothers is short, but it's charm is unmatched. The story is compelling. The world is gorgeous. The characters invoke the player's emotion(very few games have achieved this). The gameplay is unique (granted the twin stick mechanic has been done before, but not in this way).

It would be a shame to miss out on Brothers. This is one of those games that every gamer should have under their belt.

The meth addicted love child of the original Prince of Persia & an epic arm wrestling match.

Simple concept, simple execution & simple look, but very fun.

Fast, brutal, sometimes frustrating & at the same time satisfying.


I propose a sequel to this, "Nidhogg 2: The Talkening". These guys clearly need to talk some things out.

Would I recommend this? Not to myself, but if you like rhythm games? Sure it seems decent enough.

I got this in a bundle. I'm not a fan of rhythm games. I don't generally play them, so I may be lacking contrast. Take my recommendation with a grain of salt.

Amazing game. I played the crap out of this on PS3 & loved it. I bought it again since I decided to abandon consoles all together & this version has a hell of a lot more content. I knew that going in, but you don't really appreciate the amount of extra content until you play both.

My only 2 gripes with this version are:
1) The controls don't match up & I became accustomed to the PS3 version so naturally I wanted to use the PS3 controller. It's possible, but takes a lot of fenagling(Xpadder tweeks & what not) to get it close.
2) While the PS3 version has trophies the Steam version does not.

Wow, this game is not easy & it's not because of the game's difficulty. The difficulty dirrectly correlates to the terrible controls.

On the second stage for instance, you will have multiple fast moving enemies bearing down on you. Most of these enemies take 2 hits to kill. Your slow firing pistol does not allow you to move while firing, so jumping over the onslaught or taking the hit seems like the best option most times.


I realize I just started playing this & I may be taking the whole game out of context, but this is my 1st impression. I will edit this review after some more time in game. I would not recommend this after my 1st impression though.

I've been watching this title for a while now & finally decided to pick it up in Early Acess. Mountain Sheep have be putting in a fair amount of work on a regular basis. Along with the amount of potential this title shows. I felt like my $15 would not be squandered.

I'm not going to lie. There is still a lot of work to be done here, but as a very early work in progress Hardland is good. I think it's safe to say, It's only going to get better.

I flirted with a chick. She told me she was married. Made her way into a crawl-space. Then slammed the door in my face.

10/10 for realism
1/10 for the heartbreak

In true Borderlands fashion this game does not disappoint. If you've played 1 or 2 you know what you're getting. My only gripe is that there is no longer a way to mark items as trash & then bulk sell. Well at least not one that I have found yet. There might be a option toggle. I haven't really looked.

Revised: There is a bulk sell. However, it sells everything in inventory that is not favorited.

Not worth buying.

The good news is "The Plan" is free, takes up little drive space & is moderately interesting. It's also a short game-ish thing that you can cram in between actual games.

"The Plan" misses the mark of being a completely profound experience like "Journey", but it's still worth a look.
