Excellent! All the "South Park" humor is here. There are tons of references to the show. The story has a nice flow to it. The gameplay is pretty good. The character classes are kind of meh, but functional. I came across a few bugs, but nothing game breaking.

This is a pretty good turn-based RPG & it stays true to the animated series. If you're a fan of either, you should have this in your library.

After 2.5 hours I think I have a good feel for the game.

Submerged is pretty & there is a little bit of a story rearing it's head that piques the interest. The world has a real Beyond Good & Evil quality, but if that world was devoid of life. The devs were definitely aiming for a Shadow of the Colossus-esque game, but missed the mark by making this extremely tedious. All the character movements feel like you're trudging through molasses. If you're not patient & thorough. You'll either leave things behind or dread having to trek back to items you missed. As far as I'm concerned, It's a "no" vote.

Very over priced. With the exception of 1 or 2 puzzles, this "game" is super easy. Even after getting stuck on a puzzle, I had completed this in a little more than 3 hours. I had also turned the hints off at the start of the game. Leaving them on may make it a lot easier. The only thing Tengami has going for it is the art style & concept. I guess another plus is that you can get 4 easy achievements. The BGM was nice, but kept cutting out randomly. The load times were also pretty darn long. Not sure why for such a small program.

Not much here worth 10 bucks or even the 5 that I payed. Wait for heavy cuts in the price.

SO MUCH SCREEN TEARING! Why do developers refuse to add a VSync option?

I'm sure this is because I'm not used to it & I don't have it fully configured yet. But the layout & how this controller handles (at the moment) are terrible.

I come from a long background of using a Playstation style controller. To me inverting the right stick/touchpad with the button layout was a bad move. It makes every use feel clumsy & all my gaming sloppy. My mind & hand are trained to go where the buttons are supposed to be resulting in me hitting the wrong buttons or the touchpad.

As for the touchpads, the sensitivity is way off. To move the camera I have to swipe multiple times to get to where I want the camera to be. I'm sure this is just because I have to adjust the sensitivity.

So far everything feels sloppy & poorly laid out. When you can't do the things you know you can do & your skill level tanks because of a controller layout, gaming almost feels demoralizing.

I'll revisit this review, but 1st impressions (to me at least) are not good.

UPDATE:

It's been a long time since my 1st impression & I have to admit I barely picked this thing up at all because of that. It's too tempting to pick up the DS3, I'm almost guaranteed a good gaming experience with THAT controller.

However, over the past few weeks, I've been forcing myself to use the Steam Controller(Mainly because my DS3 is breaking down & needs to be repaired/replaced). Anyway I've been getting some usage out of this & it feels like time for this update. My 2nd impression is still not entirely positive, but better.

After some time my thumbs have started to hone in on the button locations. I still stumble & occasionally have to look at the damn controller to get my bearings, but I'm managing.

The touchpads still feel gimmicky, out of place & larger then they need to be. Yes the sensitivity can be changed(this addresses what I said earlier), but it still feels off & imprecise. Not sure how people play FPS games with this abomination.

The controller itself is very hefty. There's a lot of weight & bulk here. The fact that it is in your hands, is always in your mind. A good controller, is one that you forget you are holding & functions as an extension of yourself. This is not, 'that'. Also because of it's size, It never feels like it's sitting correctly in my hands. The buttons in the back & the bumpers/triggers always feel like I have to reach for them. I have average sized male hands, not sure who this was designed for.

The ability to configure buttons/settings through Steam is a great idea & works well, but I was able to do that ages ago & a lot easier with XPadder.

Overall I say this thing is somewhat functional, but an uncomfortable 2nd choice when it comes to what controller I will use when gaming.

Side Note: While playing Saints Row 2. I ran into parts of the game, that are made completely unplayable because of the terrible touchpad. Namely the "Ho-ing" missions where you have to push & hold a direction on the touchpad. A stick that you can hold, will stay in that position. This abonmination moves that direction & immediately recenters. Also ANY targeting is a terrible chore. This thing is a pile.

TRASH! Once you get into using it on a regular basis. Buttons start to stick & hesitate to register. I just decided I'd pull this thing apart to clean it out, in hopes of correcting the issue. But the "brilliant"(sarcasm) engineers, decided to slap some hex headed precision screws into this PoS. VALVE, you're dealing with the PC community. Modification & repairs are what we do(YOU EFFING KNOW THIS!). WHY THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE THIS DIFFICULT? Standard phillips head screws ARE A THING.

Insanely boring. These sort of simulators are supposed to have poor controls which add to the humor level of the player's failure. I get that, but the whole time I was playing this I was making the same face as the rooster in my avatar. I had a truck jump up & land on the rider's back. The truck then proceeded to ride me & my scooter for a street block, until we all crashed into a wall. Seems humorous? Not at all, stoic rooster face intact.

The majority of rounds end with you basically parked against a wall or object. Collisions should result in calamity.

There are no control settings. You are left to figure it out for your own. Which is ok unless things change for no reason. I played a few rounds & found that pressing select on my controller would do a fast round reset. Somehow after about 10 rounds that stopped working & the start button (which did nothing earlier) now functioned as a return to main menu. From the main menu I was able to load the next round.

The BGM is torturous - nuff said about that.

Also why the hell does it say "trial version" in the bottom right of a game I payed for?

Refund requested. Now I'm going to go back to doing something fun, like ripping my pubes out with a pair of pliers.

The only con is it's not customisable(exception to the colored lighting), but then again why tweek this baby?

The detail on this is very well done. You see how it looks from the images. Psyonix didn't fall down on the job of SFX either. The boost trails & empty tank sounds are spot on.

Side note - I found myself boosting all over the map after our team let up goals. To my dismay this car can't actually send me back in time to make up for in game mistakes. Boo Psyonix, boo!

Recommended - but not at $3.

It's humorous & enjoyable. Problem is Plug & Play is about 13 minutes long & less of a game then it is a short experience. Wait for deep cuts in a sale.

Psyonix created a work of art & have been strangling the life out of it ever since. Now that they've sold out to Epic, we're finally starting to hear Rocket League's death rattle. Later Psyonix! I hope this decision comes back to bite you in the ass.
