I just saw i had 69 Hours in as of this writing.

"like Tarkov if it smoked a blunt." Best description I have heard that sums up the Deadside.
(Disclaimer): I only play PvE.
There are elements from other games like Rust with the survival and base building mechanics. For the most part, just loot, rinse and repeat. Bare in mine the game is still early access but the bones feel solid and the frame work is there so a lot of potential here.
The server I play on is pretty active, 90% of the player base is extremely friendly and helpful.
IMO: its a good game for 20$ your milage may vary.
